If you are looking for a Doctor with empathy, find someone else. My first impression in the office was that he is in a hurry and could care less if you have surgery or not. After surgery he has a nurse with a stack of papers point to families that he is "required" to talk to. He approaches and tells you things went as expected blah blah blah without ever looking up from the paper. Then his nurse points to another family and they walk away. He spoke to about 5 families waiting so he must have some type of assembly line going on. My opinion is that he must have someone else start the surgery, he steps in and does the Knee, and someone else finishes so that he can move on to the next. The next morning after surgery he is just as arrogant and uncaring. If the incision looks ok then that is all he cares about. If you tell him you are in pain he will tell you that it can't be that bad or no one would do it and he has done thousands of these surgeries. Good By! I would not recommend this doctor no matter how good everyone else says he is. The New Albany facility is very nice and the nursing staff is awesome.

Dr. Lombardi was recommended to me by many people. A friend had her hip done a few months before me and she had nothing but kudos to give him. As many people say, he really is not a "talker", but he knows what he is doing and that is all I cared about. I was up and running in no time and I know God himself sent me to this man. He is top of the line as is the new Albany hospital and staff. God bless him and his staff!! Do not even consider going anywhere else if you need a replacement. Dr.Adolph Lombardi is the ONLY way to go.

Dr Lombardi did both of my hip replacements as outpatient. I had a knee replacement 2weeks ago as outpatient. I have 1more knee to go. I would not let anyone else touch me. I work in a large Hosp. No one there I want. Lombardi is the best . People come from everywhere. Lucinda Legg Waverly Ohio

If you're looking for a doc with good bedside manners, forget it. However, if confidence and skill are your main priorities, this is the physician for you. Don't let the flashy appearance fool you, this guy knows what he's doing. I had my knee replaced in 2005 and experienced a quick recovery with no problems. I'll need the other knee replaced soon. Dr. Lombardi is my doctor of choice. BTW Dr. Lombardi trains other ortho docs and has a patent for his own knee replacements.

Had a knee replacement from a team led by Dr. Lombardi in February 2008. Surgery went fast. I was out of recovery after 2 hours and on my feet shortly thereafter. Pre-Op, the doctor, in particular, spent more time reviewing my condition than others and recommended a less invasive procedure. The results have been sensational. I was driving on Day 10 (left knee). I was back at the gym for workouts in due course. Lombardi is the "top dog" for knee replacement work.

Checked with many medical resources on problem issues with knee replacements, Dr. Lombardi's name always came up first. He did my third or last of three knee replacements (on one leg). Mine was a difficult issue complicated with past infections. I found Dr. Lombardi to be a straight shooter. Although I found him dry, his experience and knowledge is unmatched, at least in Ohio. The only reason I walk today without a limp is because of Dr. Lombardi's surgical brilliance. I unequiviably recommend Dr. Lombardi nor do I hesitate leaving my name. Steve Schulkers.

The only time I saw this man was in his office - not even once at the hospital for a hip replacement. I doubt he even performed the surgery because when I had unexpected complications he had no idea why nor tried to correct it. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend him to anyone.

The patients in his office come from all over the state of Ohio for his help. Dr. Lombardi gets many difficult joint implant cases; ones that other doctors have given up. He performs miracles.... Trust him - He's the best.
