Dr. Lusk has been my Doc for 20 years. Both he and his wife Maggie have treated me with much respect.Dr.Lusk uses his MD and throws in some good ole common sense, and it works REAL WELL!!I am so glad I found him and his wife all those years ago.

Kind, compassionate, and approachable. Dr. Lusk looks at the whole person and helps to tailor your treatment to your needs. Very good marks on neuropharmacology. He does not follow the "it's newer so must be better" mentality; he looks at what is effective for you and tries to provide options for lower cost medications. They work with you on scheduling to find options to meet your schedule.

I have been seeing Dr. Lusk for 16 years and I am more than happy with the care I get. Several years ago, when he moved to his current location (40 mile round trip for me) I tried switching to a doctor closer to home. It only took one visit for me to realize the treasure I have found in Dr. Lusk. In addition to his knowledge and expertise, thoroughly personable. His wife/secretary Maggie Lusk is a jewel. He could move his office to San Antonio and I would still make the drive to see him.

Dr. Lusk is an exceptionally knowledgeable psychiatrist and expert in diagnosis, treatment and follow-through. He has proven himself time and again over the past 12 years in devising practical, achievable strategies for treatment that simply put work. There is no measure to how valuable Dr. Lusk's advice has been in improving my quality of life and those around me. In my experience Dr. Lusk is unparalleled in his unique ability to connect with you to quickly build trust and a belief that healing will occur. You can talk with Gary about anything and know he understands. Dr. Maggie Lusk manages all of the scheduling, insurance liaison, prescription management and is the public face of the practice. She is one of the most proficient people I've ever met. On top of that Maggie is friendly and compassionate. I wish all healthcare administrative people were half as good. Thank goodness I found them both or my now permanent state of well being would have remained a mere unrealized dream.

Dr. Lusk and Maggie Lusk have practically saved my life. After years of searching for why I was feeling as badly as I did, I was introduced to Dr. Lusk. From the beginning, he helped me stop anything I was taking or doing to search doctors and treatments for answers. Dr. Lusk is especially astute at diagnosing, correctly, for especially critical situations. With his accepting demeanor, I was able to follow his plan for my healing. Eventually, I grew to feel like I had a future to look forward to. With his help, I have continued to be well for about 13 years.

I have been seeing Dr. Lusk for about five years, and I can only say that his impact on my life has been huge. I sawhad seen other doctors before, with mixed results, but Dr. Lusk was able to quickly identify issues not detected earlier and come up with an effective treatment plan. He is very interested in outcome and encouraged me to contact him any time to discuss any concerns that I might have. He takes the time to explain any medication he prescribes in a way that I can easily understand but can easily speak at a depth of knowledge that demonstrates he has an expert understanding of the name brands versus the generics and when each makes sense. He understands the issues of costs of certain medications and was able to offer options for working to get the impact that I needed. I can’t speak highly enough of Dr. Lusk and the treatment I’ve received.

I have been seeing Dr. Lusk since 1992 he's awesome and extremely knowledgeable I talk to him about every part of my life and he has helped me in so many ways by having me on the proper medications for my illness. He doesn't make me feel rushed or that he doesn't have time for me. I think he's the best Dr that I have ever had and I am 55 years old. I have stayed with him because he is so very smart and keeps up with new things medically and lets me know if there is a different way to give me treatment. His wife Maggie I feel like we are friends even though she is his partner in the office. We talk and she is very upbeat and soft spoken but she is extremely busy Dr. Lusk said that Maggie's job was harder than his for her to keep up with appointments, reminders of appointments, calling the insurance companies to get preauthorization for medications and so much more. Maggie is the best. I would recommend Dr. Lusk to anyone.

My experience with Dr. Lusk is that he is exceptional in diagnosis and treatment. He is unbelivably meticulous and precise in determination of treatment. The impact on my life from Dr. Lusk's work has been unbelievably positive. There are no words that can describe exactly how grateful I am. He always deals with me with love, respect and dignity.

I began bringing my daughter to Dr. Lusk when she was in high school and began having very severe problems with her ADD and her medication was not sufficient. He diagnosed her problem and worked with me to find supportive ways to help her. One of the things I really like about Dr. Lusk is that kids with ADD tend to be very bright and manipulative. We had seen several doctors due to our insurance and he was the first one who wouldn't allow her to manipulate him. He really saw her and made sure she was accountable for her actions. Over the years, we've found Dr. Lusk and Maggie to be very supportive, and helpful of not only us, but other patients as well. I've even had an unexpected call back on a holiday weekend when I called in an emergency to ask for an appointment as son as possible the following week. Most offices would have waited until Monday to call, Dr. Lusk called that night. I never leave a consult wondering what he meant as he explains everything clearly.

Dr. Gary Lusk has been an outstanding doctor in every way to me for over 15 years! His diagnosis, prescription, and suggestions were all spot-on! My health and life have been so greatly improved ever since he first treated me. Dr. Lusk is a good listener, polite, well-informed, and responsive to me. He is sensitive and compassionate, and ever-willing to offer new ideas when appropriate. His office and office area are both comfortable and accommodating. His office manager is also very helpful, patient, responsive, and efficient. The office is run in an efficient yet comfortable-like-home manner. Both Dr. Lusk and his office manager practice the highest and best of medical and business ethics, gently but firmly! I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Gary Lusk for anyone in need of psychiatric help. He and his staff are compassionate, effective, and current!
