I was having to pay for my therapy out of my pocket and dr offered me a 30% discount on my therapy. This helped me out financially very much. I had already met my insurance limit for therapy.

I was referred to Dr. Larry Nord for a second opinion on a shoulder injury. I have returned to Dr. Larry Nord for the majority of my orthopedic injuries. Dr. Larry Nord's office is the only medical office in Central Illinois that I have been to that runs on time. I have never waited more than 10 minutes in the waiting room. I have been told by pain specialists that Dr. Nord is the best orthopedic surgeon in this area for carpal tunnel and that his patients never get carpal tunnel a second time. Unfortunately his office has a habit of double billing. Also, he owns Neuro Ortho rehab. I would not recommend this rehab facility. One of his therapists tore a disc in my back when I was having PT after knee surgery.

If you get referred to Dr. Larry Nord, run away. His only interest is the dollar, not your health. He also has his brother (OB/GYN) assist with surgery, so you will get his bill also. Guess they want to keep it in the family. Find another surgeon,you'll be glad you did.

Eqplains everything well, answers all questions, spent the time with me so i understood what was wrong and how he would fix it.
