I've been seeing Dr Ahmadian for 8+ years. I'm surprised reading people's comments because shes been so helpful treating me. I've tried other neurologists who did not help my migraines. No one could. But she did! She tried tests no one else did to get answers, she mixed 3 seizure meds + it worked! I'm so happy! She really cares and listens! OTHER neuro ignored what I said and wrote completely false statements in my records. When I transferred to Dr Ahmadian she helped find answers where other Drs couldn't. She's been great! I only get on avg 3 migraines a month vs a week. I'm such a complex case with many other problems and she's cared enough to make a huge difference. She was even aware of what my rare disorder was yet some other Drs had no clue. Some Drs don't like challenges. She took me on. She's working with my peripheral neuropathy and has been great in helping me find Drs that work with my personality, ADHD plus Drs that are as tenacious as she is to find answers outside neuro. She treats whole body. She found Rheumatologist. She's been such a blessing!!
I've also seen Eileen her NP (nurse practitioner) several times. She has been really nice and very thorough too.
*Be patient (I know it's not easy!) she really cares and can help, but NO illness can be fixed overnight. (which sucks) Dr Ahmadian is there to help and wants to solve your problems. If she took on my load of crap and was willing to help and try to solve some of the other issues that were happening with me she can help anyone! My case is really complicated. I would trust Dr Ahmadian with my life any day. I'm grateful I found such a smart, caring, tenacious Dr.
**EVERY Dr gets office busy. Call or question until you have you have answers. Its up to you! Your responsibility NOT ur Drs.
**Remember ALL Drs are detectives. They can't solve your case if you won't give ALL the clues. No matter how crazy, or stupid it may be to you, or even if YOU think that the symptom or what you may be taking over the counter (otc) has nothing to do with it, it helps Drs to know ALL the clues. Just tell them. They have heard way worse and are NOT embarrassed like us. Let your Dr decide if it matters. It might just be that key to a diagnosis. Good luck with your problems!
