I've been seeing Dr Ahmadian for 8+ years. I'm surprised reading people's comments because shes been so helpful treating me. I've tried other neurologists who did not help my migraines. No one could. But she did! She tried tests no one else did to get answers, she mixed 3 seizure meds + it worked! I'm so happy! She really cares and listens! OTHER neuro ignored what I said and wrote completely false statements in my records. When I transferred to Dr Ahmadian she helped find answers where other Drs couldn't. She's been great! I only get on avg 3 migraines a month vs a week. I'm such a complex case with many other problems and she's cared enough to make a huge difference. She was even aware of what my rare disorder was yet some other Drs had no clue. Some Drs don't like challenges. She took me on. She's working with my peripheral neuropathy and has been great in helping me find Drs that work with my personality, ADHD plus Drs that are as tenacious as she is to find answers outside neuro. She treats whole body. She found Rheumatologist. She's been such a blessing!!
I've also seen Eileen her NP (nurse practitioner) several times. She has been really nice and very thorough too.
*Be patient (I know it's not easy!) she really cares and can help, but NO illness can be fixed overnight. (which sucks) Dr Ahmadian is there to help and wants to solve your problems. If she took on my load of crap and was willing to help and try to solve some of the other issues that were happening with me she can help anyone! My case is really complicated. I would trust Dr Ahmadian with my life any day. I'm grateful I found such a smart, caring, tenacious Dr.

**EVERY Dr gets office busy. Call or question until you have you have answers. Its up to you! Your responsibility NOT ur Drs.

**Remember ALL Drs are detectives. They can't solve your case if you won't give ALL the clues. No matter how crazy, or stupid it may be to you, or even if YOU think that the symptom or what you may be taking over the counter (otc) has nothing to do with it, it helps Drs to know ALL the clues. Just tell them. They have heard way worse and are NOT embarrassed like us. Let your Dr decide if it matters. It might just be that key to a diagnosis. Good luck with your problems!

I have seen Dr. Ahmadian for nearly 3 years since having severe Covid that resulted in nerve damage to my legs and feet. She has always been very attentive, polite and professional. I have no hesitation in recommending her as she has been one of the best physicians I have entrusted my health with!

My husband died, and when I asked her questions about the diagnosis, she was very rude and dismissive. Did not see this doctor.

Cut patient's anti-hallucination medicine in half without a taper, without informing this hospital patient or her husband, without informed consent or any consent whatsoever. Worse, on her group's chart was an order for MRI of elderly patients spinal fracture which if unstabe can make patient a parapelegic. She never brought that up nor did she arrange the needed MRI to see if treatment needed. Spinal cord is part of neve system. Any caring doctor should facilitate MRI. Put patient at risk of symptoms from reducing med quickly, no consent from patient. Mainained patients vulnerability to parapaleiahttp://emedicine.medscape.com/article/248236-overview

Saw Dr. Ahmadian after 5th head injury and twitching, uncontrollable body movements. She spent, maybe, 5 mins with me. Ordered EEG-fine. 24 hrs. EEG- continuos muscle spasms, but not a seizure. Said it was a tic disorder.

Saw a different Neurologist yesterday. He looked at me, not at his computer screen, asked questions, listened to my answers.

He told me what he thought it could be and explained why, set up testing to confirm or rule out his thoughts. Would NEVER suggest her to anyone! No personality, orders one or two tests, never follows up!

Staff is awful - I had no idea who was calling to confirm an appointment that I made 3 MONTHS ago, told them I didn't know who it was. Then I get an email saying it's canceled with all the details they didn't give me on phone. Ten minutes later appointment gone, that I waited months for - they were very rude and hung up. No thanks!

I was just at Dr.Ahmadian's office yesterday, got in to see her in less than 5 min. that was the quickest ever, usually around 15min. she is worth waiting for. I have been with her for 3 years and will stay with her as long as I can.Yes there is a wait for her, she is a busy doctor and trying to take care of many people, she is doing a great job of it. Worth the wait. She is a smart and caring person, some time ago.Dr. Ahmadian has treated me for a few things, and explained everything clearly, she took her time doing it. We did spend some time yesterday going over some things she was telling me, I am so glad she did this, I was scared at first at what she was talking but but I feel better knowing she is handeling things and all is well. I believe in her I do love the new MyChart system. you can get everything you need to know, and contact the Doc.with questons and she can answer in her "free" time.It really takes care of everything on your mind, even results of test. Thanks

I saw Dr. Ahmadian for cluster headaches, and I have to say that the treatment she gave me, worked great. I've been dealing with these headaches for years, but as long as I know what meds to take around the time these clusters start, I'm a happy man. Dr. Ahmadian is a very caring and knowledgeable Doctor. I do recommend her to anyone that suffers from any type of headache. Best neurologist I know, and if people complain that she's always busy, its because its true, and that's a good thing, it just proves that she's a great Doctor, and has a lot of patients. I am greatful to have Dr. Ahmadian as my neurologist.
