I'm really not sure where the reviews that say this guy is excellent are coming from. This guy is not excellent. He is not warm and caring. He seemed to be the exact opposite to us - cold and not caring. He wanted us to do unnecessary tests on my son (we went for a 2nd opinion). & he along with others read my son's EEG report incorrectly- saying it was abnormal and it was normal! Do yourself a favor and don't see him. However, the office staff were great at getting us in quicker and seemed very pleasant. But that unfortunately isn't enough when the doctor is anything but helpful.

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Smith's for many years. He is very knowledgeable and caring. He always responds to phone calls and is professional in his manner. My daughter feels very comfortable in his office. I wish my other doctors were like him

Wow! I had an excellent experience with Dr. Robin Smith and his staff. The office was very helpful to all of my children's needs. Dr. Smith is exceptionally knowledgable, listened to all my concerns and gave me feedback without giving me the feeling of being rushed. When I made my appointment there was a 2 month waiting period but his staff was able to accomodate me by putting me on a cancelation list which inturn got me a sooner appointment. Dr. Smith's compassion and understanding towards my children warmed my heart. I would recommend him and his professional staff to anyone that is in need of a Pediatric Neurologist.

Do not take your child to this doctor. Two times in an 8 month period, he left the country with no way for my child to get his medication. I asked for a letter so that in an emergency my ped could write a script for my child. I was denied. He also sent me a letter that I was not understanding to his problems......cause leaving my child without meds is not a problem.

Dr.Smith is a wonderful doctor. He answers all my questions and has really helped my son. He is moving to another practice closeby. I will definitely follow him. He is very kind and patient. You can tell he really likes kids and knows a lot. He is on the list of best Drs in new york.
