I was first impressed by Dr. Yadlapalli's considerable expertise when my mom first went to him a few years ago due to spinal stenosis. She wasn't responding to orthopedic treatment, so her General Practitioner suggested that she go to Dr. Yadlapalli. She was in a great deal of pain and walked with a cane. After neurological testing, he put her on two medications. After a relatively short amount of time, she was able to go back to her active lifestyle...pain free and no cane! Now, my son is also a patient of Dr. Yadlapalli's due to a minor seizure disorder. Because of Dr. Yadlapalli's intelligence, kind demeanor and tips for everyday health and living, my family and I are so grateful that we were referred to this highly recommended doctor!!

In the beginning of 2011, my dad began exibit some unusual behavior. He was unable to keep his head elevated. In addition, he had difficulty swallowing food and often emitted liquids throught his nose. He was not getting any better and decided to reach out to a neurologist recommended by another doctor. We consulted with Dr. Yadlapalli of Garden City, NY. I consider this doctor to be a true "angel" in every sense of the word. Upon meeting my dad, he gave him considerable time and performed a complete evaluation. What impressed me most was that this doctor never cut corners and "assumed" that this was a function of age. After a COMPLETE evalutation and various tests, it was confirmed that my dad had Myasthenia Gravis, an auto-immune disease. Anti-bodies actually attack the muscles, particularly in the upper region (eyes, mouth, swallowing mechanism etc.). He immediately put my dad on a series of medication and CAREFULLY monitors him regularly. My dad is now doing great! Thank you!!!

Dr Yadlapalli consulted on my mother's case back in Spring 2011. My mother was diagnosed with Myeloma (Blood Cancer) on 2/16/11, immediatley started Chemo, and then a very short unsuccessful road until her untimely death 5/13/11. After starting Chemo out-patient she but was readmitted within 2 weeks because of Dehydration. While there, initially she showed signs of improvement , but later decame delirious and confused, and other complications throughout her approx-8wk stay. Dr Yadlapalli was consulted for Neuro; after his thorough assessment of mom & her records we had a heart-to-heart conversation about my mother's outlook. Though grimm, he was the only Doctor that was very honest with me with regards to her health and what I should expect over the next few weeks. He did not do any unecessary testing or probing. He was always pleasant and respectful. He empowered me to be able to make the final decisions of her DNR status earlier rather than later. A great Doctor!
