Doctor Willis and his staff including Dustin Collier (PT) saved my shoulder. I was 61 years old and completely tore 3 of the 4 rotator tendons. I have 6 screws in my dominate shoulder. Dr Willis performed the surgery and D Collier performed the PT. I have my shoulder back completely. I can’t use these words to say how grateful I am to Dr Willis. I don’t even think about my shoulder being injured and it’s almost 2 years post surgery. He’s the best. I have my shoulder back from a catastrophic injury and I don’t think about it. D Collier is the finest PT in North Jersey as well.

Dr. Willis saw me for right shoulder pain, which required rotator cuff surgery. The recovery was quick and relatively pain free, and now my shoulder feels like it did 40 years ago. Thanks Dr. Willis for your expertise.

As a health care provider myself, I am acutely aware of the importance of doing your homework before having surgery. Dr. Willis came highly recommended to me by former patients he had operated on, physical therapists who had seen his post-op patients, and other health care providers. He repaired my torn rotator cuff, and I could not be more pleased with my results! I had a seamless post-op recovery, and now have full return of function of my shoulder. I could not be more pleased! Thank you Dr. Willis!

Dr. Willis does not spend enough talking time with his patients and is too quick. Doesn't spend enough time with you. I went in for surgery on my wrist and he spent very little time with me. I got so nervous I asked for something to calm me down, he just sort of grunted and my blood pressure went to over 200 because I wasn't given any medication as requested. I was eventually sent home without having the surgery and went home with an ace bandage which I was wearing when I arrived. After two hours of sitting there, my son picked me up and took me home. Shortly after I arrived at home they called me to come back to the hospital I asked why and they said I needed a cast. That should have been placed on my wrist before I left the hospital. So, now its six months since I broke my wrist and I still need surgery. I won't be going back to Dr. Willis.

I just wanted to express a written thank you for the torn meniscus repair Dr Willis performed on my knee in November 2014. I spent a few months trying to "nurse" my knee back to health through various means before consulting with Dr Willis. Upon review of my MRI, he said "you're not going to be satisfied unless you have this surgery". He was extremely sympathetic with my desire to be able to continue my active lifestyle including distance running. Unlike other professionals I visited, he treated my desire with respect, and did not dismiss me as a "crazy older woman" with unrealistic expectations. He explained the condition and treatment on a professional level, which perhaps intimidating to some, impressed me that I was treated as an intelligent person, and serious amateur athlete, despite my age and arthritis in both knees. I truly feel my continued high level of physical activity has contributed to keeping this condition under control and my overall health. I starting running a little 6 weeks after the surgery, and gradually progressed with the assistance of cross-training to be able to run my first half marathon 6 months post-surgery in a respectable 2 hours, 9 minutes, which is only a few minutes slower than my pre-surgery time. In the race I did, I missed being included in the 60 year old age group by only 2 months, but if I were 60 today, I would have placed 2nd in my age group! Again, I am very happy with the treatment I received at Tri-County Orthopedics and by Dr Willis and staff.

The expertise, professionalism, and mannerly care given all patients cannot be overly expressed. The courtesy, attentiveness, and consideration given to all patients plus compete explanation of your concerns was obvious. Knowing that the best medical doctor is assigned to you for your particular ailment is most reassuring. I was previously in constant pain for three years, following two unsuccessful right shoulder rotator cuff operations elsewhere. At that time, I was told "live with what you got".
Since my operation at Tri-County Orthopedics (3-4-15) for Comprehensive Reverse Shoulder Replacement surgery. I have no pain at all. My mobility and function has improved over 90% and I'M STILL HEALING. I never had this in the previous 3 years. I cannot express enough accolades toward Dr. Andrew A. Willis and his entire (direct and indirect) staff for their tireless efforts and responses to all of my needs and questions both before and after my operation.
May God Bless All of You!
Thank you~

I was on workers' comp, and my first doctor treated me like so much hamburger. I wasn't satisfied, and, happily, my case manager told me about Dr. Willis. Unlike the first doctor, Dr. Willis spent a good deal of time with me, explaining things carefully and intelligently. That, combined with his bona fides, convinced me that I wanted him to operate on me. I am very, very satisfied. The operation was more complicated than he expected, but I had no post operative pain to speak of, and I have made an excellent recovery. I can recommend the doctor to anyone!

Dr. Willis is without a doubt the best orthopedic surgeon out there. He recognized the issue with my shoulder immediately, explained it plainly so I understood exactly what was wrong, took action and to say repaired it is an understatement, the man is a artist when it comes to reconstructing joints. He is the only person I recommend, and the only person the I trust when it comes to orthopedic surgery.
