I have been a patient of Dr. Adam A. Lyko for a little over four years now. I am a Type 1 Diabetic, with multiple problem issues related to diabetes, which is why now that Dr. Lyko has moved into private practice, March 19, 2018 in another state, I am still his patient.

Dr. Lyko addresses your needs head on, in a professional and compassionate manner. He also provides the detailed paperwork to your insurance, to make sure you get what is medically necessary, and helps greatly when you have to appeal a denial for something that is medically necessary. If you need something, he will work to make sure you get it, if you don't need it, he will explain why, and help you with next steps.

Dr. Adam Lyko cares about his patients, which is why he started his own private practice, "Selkirk Endocrinology, PLLC" so that he can care for patients, and not just treat them as a number.

If you are in need of a great endocrinologist, give Dr. Adam A. Lyko a call at (208) 758-0075, or fax at (208) 758-0076 and make an appointment with him. Office Hours are Monday thru Friday 8AM to 2PM.

He will take the time to properly diagnose the problem, and organize a plan to help you move forward and improve your health where possible. I know that he will, because he did that for me.

Thank you,
Joseph Greely

Dr Lyko has not reviewed labs that where taken over a month ago. Also he prescribed a medication to me that is has known side effects that are conditions that I have already, when I brought this to his attention he blew me off and told me to take the medication anyways. This was the worst physican experience I have ever had, and I feel like the doctor never actually listened to me or my concerns.

Dr Lyko's assistance is rude. I've been seeing this Dr for 8 months, and this is the first time I have asked for sample insulin to hold me till my mail order showed up. I was treated like a drug addict and told, "I need to figure my medicine situation out", I was told to wait till she would be back at the main clinic the following day. I don't know a diabetic that can wait for 24 hours when their sugars are in the 500-600 range. Or a Dr that thinks thats ok to make a diabetic go 24 hours without insulin. I asked her to call the mainclinic and I would go pick it up. The Main Clinic's staff was amazaing. The asked no quesitons, were not rude in any way. And offered more than I had requested of my insulin to hold me till my mail order showed up. Ill be changing Dr's. Same clinic, and Ill schedule my apts when she is not working.
