Dr. Perez was very unprofessional. He was extremely inaccurate with all my medical records. For example I walk with a cane and have hearing aids. Dr. Perez noted both areas "Normal". Upon confronting Perez to correct this information he refused to correct his errors and then refused to see me as a patient. Perez can not be trusted and has clearly committed fraud

I have been seeing Dr. Perez for diabetes for 2 years and he has been wonderful. I do not always like what he says, but always tries to get me to see the positive side of my treatment and diet. He is doing all that he can to keep me off dialysis. Would not go another endocrinologist.

Excellent. Had me hooked up witht he #1 surgeon in the country for parathyroid surgery, explained everything in detail and was very responsive. took an after hours call and was most sympathetic. Highly praised by the surgeons several times as an excellent endo. I was 100% satsified and surprised to see the lower ratings here.

Saved me. Set me up for immediate surgery for a growth on my parathyroid gland. Very detailed, very good and top surgeon said I was lucky - he is one of the BEST. I concur.

DrPerez gets my vote. He took extreme measures to explain my condition and explain all options. I found him to be extremely caring and very knowledgable. He did not rush me in any way and wanted to be sure that I understood everything. Thank you to a great Dr.

Dr. Perez is one of th most unpleaseant people I have met. He does not listen to the patient, just reads out numbers. Did not help me at all.

I have had Dr Perez as my diabetes doctor for around 2 yrs. Recently because of medical and financial hardship I had an outstanding balance of $65. On 3/28/08 I received a letter informing me that he would no longer be my doctor. I find this ridiculous because of the low amount I owed him. The letter was confirmed by office staff that it is his signature on the letter. He willingly discharge me as a patient because of my inability to pay $65 of insurance co-pays of $65. Dr Perez and his office staff lack of compassion in these hard times is ridiculous. Of course he was paid by the insurance company. If I owed the doctor 100's of dollars I could understand the discharge. When I have already filed bankruptcy and am barely making my mortgage I find this type of disregard of my health disgusting. In the city of Sarasota there are only 3 doctors of endocrinology.
