We love Dr. Kandel. His office has always been helpful and handles any paperwork necessary. He saw my mother who was in Memory Care and offered some great suggestions for us and then he saw my husband after a stroke. They are very knowledgeable and have NO qualms of telling you if you're not following his directives that they can no longer help you. I don't have an issue with that! Rather have that than continue to see you knowing it won't help you.

Worst doctor ever. He mailed me a termination letter after tests showed a diet pill in my system prescribed by another napes doctor. After wasting my time by not knowing what he was doing

If U want to throw away your money- use Dr Kandel! After getting his money from Medicare he is ready to Cancel U as a patient. Will not talk to U on the phone. If U question his Nurse about communicating with him, her reply is That’s what the Nurse is for “. If U witness this , report him to The Medical Society. Save yourself time and aggravation and FIND A PROFESSIONAL DR. Who will help you?

Dr Kandel is an INCREDIBLY AMAZING doctor!!!! I recommend him to anyone who needs a neurologist. I have chronic migraines and have seen tons of neurologists (here and in North Carolina). Dr Kandel is the first doctor to make a difference in my life. I'm a health care attorney and have trouble trusting most doctors, but Dr. Kandel is an exception. He is super smart, compassionate and will go above and beyond for his patients (even coming in on Saturdays). He really is the best!!!

I have been seeing Dr. Kandel with great success in pain management for years. After my insurance changed to an HMO secondary Dr. Kandel assured me he would continue to treat me. I enrolled in the Botox program. Not long after I started receiving invoices. I called several times and went into office and was set up on payments. I was making regular payments and kept getting invoices with additional charges. Some were from 2015. I have been charged close to $1000.00 I would not have continued to be his patient if I knew I would receive these outrageous changes back to 2015. I left and saw Dr. Novack for same procedure and was charged $17.00 Great Dr. And very honest. Dr. Kandel's office also turned me over to collection agency claiming they sent me invoices and made phone calls which I ignored. Not true! I have excellent credit and would never jeopardize it!

After one visit I realized he only wants accident cases where he can run up a bill! I did not get a diagnosis from him for my back pain and he refused to return calls when I needed a pain management MD. But he prescribes lots of meds for accident cases, I saw people come in for 3 minute visit to get refills. I was there 45 minutes and just got his family health stories including his wife, son and father. Not what I pay for when I see a doctor. Stay away and save your $$$ for another MD. Very greedy and non caring doctor and staff! Only there to milk your insurance or wallet....usually both!

Dr. Kandel is a wonderful man with a great therapy staff. They go out their way to help manage my pain and help me function. Dr. Kandel is a kind and patient man and has spent as much time as I need to do exams and discuss my healing process. Those that have complained about Dr. Kandel must never be satisfied with anything. He is the most caring Doctor I have ever been to and would recommend him highly to anyone. Yes he does testing but only to understand the problem and treat it properly.

It only took two visits with Dr Kandel to realize he had absolutely no interest in helping me but instead, draining my pocketbook. I hope potential patients do their research on this corrupt doctor. It's a shame he's still in practice. And the way he treats his staff is reprehensible!
