After waiting almost 3 hrs to get into the room to actually see Dr. T, I watched him walk out for 10-15 minutes and come back in through the waiting room, not sure where he went, but he did that about 10 times?! When he finally came into the room, asked me like 4 questions, pushed on my stomach, then walked out and the nurse gave me my colonoscopy date and time. That was it. I really don’t know what to think, I’m envisioning Dr. Death.

DrTayara is a good doctor but his staff isn't. The receptionist is the first interaction you have with the office and she seems as though she hates her job and is very unhappy to be there. After all our insurance and money is paying her salary, you'd think she'd have a smile on her face and a welcoming tone in her voice and persona. Then when you get called back you meet another less than pleasant nurse who is just there to get a paycheck. My husband was scheduled for a colonoscopy at 2pm and he's a diabetic, we called to get the appointment changed and we're told because he had cancelled an appointment in the past. We eventually left a message on the nurse line to get the colonoscopy rescheduled for an earlier time. The nurse, Christy called my husband the next day and she was very short and direct with him and scheduled it for 10am. During their conversation she told him 3 times not to cancel the appointment. My husband suffers from agoraphobia and chronic panic attacks. And he is a heart patient. He is scheduled for the colonoscopy tomorrow morning. He woke up at 12 this morning having sweats and nightmares. Woke me up at 3 worried to death about being put to sleep and having to leave the house. He decided to go ahead and follow through with it. But his brother also had a colonoscopy this morning at 11, and he called and said that he is going to have to do it over because the medicine didn't clean him out. When my husband heard that he decided he's not going through it. Shortly after talking to his brother, Christy called to confirm the colonoscopy appointment. I tried to explain to her what my husband has been experiencing, she didn't care no compassion. Needless to say we're finding another GI doctor because of this one's staff.

This is the worst doctor Ive ever seen before, in my entire life! I was recently diagnosed with a horrible condition.. I have no insurance and Im self paying. Dr. Tayara is HORRIBLE. you cant ask him questions because he doesn't care. He makes it clear that im an inconvenience and he's only treating me because of my pcp is a close friend of his. He is horrible. I have no answers, and for all the testing he performed on me, I am more confused and scared now than ever. He treats you like poo and disrespects you. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone. he may be a 'specialist' with experience, but he doesn't care about his patients and that's evident. He couldn't even tell me if my medication is safe to take now.. He is a jerk and he's a horrible horrible person!
