Biography
Dr. Mike Patterson has served as a dedicated voice for the continued care of athletes since he first began practicing medicine in 2000. Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and in Orthopedic Sports Medicine, Dr. Patterson currently oversees the Alabaster branch of Lemak Health and specializes in sports medicine and orthopedics, specifically Arthroscopy, Total Knee Replacements and Regenerative Medicine. A graduate of Florida State University, Dr. Patterson played defensive back under Head Coach Bobby Bowden from 1985 to 1987, and was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He continued his education at The University of Florida College Of Medicine, completed his residency in Orthopaedics at Orlando Regional, and went on to sub-specialize in Sports Medicine at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham. While serving as a fellow of Dr. Lawrence Lemak, Dr. Patterson provided medical care for Auburn University, Samford University, and Miles College. In addition, he has provided sports medicine coverage for the NFL Europe League, the United Football League, Thompson Middle School, Thompson High School, Shelby County High School, Bryant High School, Kingwood Christian Academy and Chilton County Schools. Dr. Patterson and his wife Shauna have three children. In his spare time, Dr. Patterson is an avid hunter, enjoys water sports and playing golf. Currently Dr. Patterson serves as: Co-Chair of the Medical Advisory Board for the National Center for Sports Safety Member of the Shelby County Member of the Chilton County Chambers of Commerce Member of the Pelham Rotary Club

Dr.Patterson is one of the worst ortho doctors very smart mouth claim to have fixed shoulder and with 5months same shoulder was torn again sent back to work no MRI or x-ray to see if it was healed just sent back to work know I am with a torn shoulder again.
