I have been going to Dr. Oberstein for 15 years, and see him every 6 months. I don't mind waiting 10-15 minutes because I know he will not rush my visit. He responds to every question I have with a clear explanation, often citing a relevant research study off the top of his head. When he called recently with results of a nuclear study he answered questions I hadn't thought of yet. He sets the bar that I measure my other doctors against. The most important thing I can say is that I trust him completely.

Staff has slipped a bit with the departure of his longtime medical assistant. Dr. Oberstein is attentive, caring and thorough. Highly recommended.

He is very busy and sometimes runs 20-30 min behind but then gives me all the time I need. Good explanations. Staff too busy at the desk.

Dr. Oberstein spend an hour and a half with me for my first appointment. He is thoughtful, attentive, explained everything in great detail. When making your first appointment it will be a bit out, but that is because he spends so much time with a new patient so that he understands how you feel and how he can make the best choices for your condition. I highly recommend Dr. Oberstein without any reservation.

Staff/assistants are great--doctor, not so much. "Listens", but doesn't hear (if you know what I mean.) It's all about the labs with this guy--as long as they're within range he's satisfied and isn't interested in and doesn't address continuing symptoms. Atmosphere feels like an assembly line--as if he's simply processing patients through rather than caring for them. Needs to treat the patient and not the labs.

Dr. Oberstein listens to what I have to say. He is extremely thorough. He did a check on something i didn't even go in for. Because of that check, he saved my life by going the extra mile.

he listened to my concerns and answered my questions. Even though he was clearly busy, he still made me feel like I was the most important patient of the day.

Have had to wait an unreasonable lenght of time at each appt >30 min. Office staff is very poor at returning phone calls and most recently was booked for unnecessary lab work and appointment. Dr O was not apologetic. Initial offer was to cover my parking a copay. I will make sure my insurance doesn't pay a dime for the lab or visit.

I had an awful experience with him and his staff. I would not recommend his services to anyone.
