Awful care of my 82 year old terminal mother sends home with pneumonia, poor breathing, after 2 days with no help from anyone except my 81 year old father who is tired and worn out so doc can take vacation without interuption. Then tells my folks that we wish to put them in a nursing home when it was his suggestion. Really? This is ethically and morally wrong! I am sure mom will be back in the hospital to greet him upon his arrival back from vacation!

Dr. Lockamy is awesome Internal Medicine Doctor, I’ve seen several in other surrounding towns and I’ve been over-dosed and under diagnosed. Dr. Lockamy is no-nonsense to the point Physician. He will not prescribe unnecessary habit-forming medications, when there are other medications that will work without the habit-forming issues, unlike some other doctors I’ve encountered. Dr. Lockamy takes his time with his patients and appointments are scheduled, so if the patient needs that time with him, they have it. I adore Dr. Lockamy and highly recommend him to anyone who truly wants a Physician who cares more about the patients then politics.

I have found Dr. Lochamy extremely helpful the past 8 years. He is one of the few doctors I have found that doesn't get defensive when you ask questions and answers all of your questions patiently. The staff has had some turn over but the current nursing staff is very friendly. The 60 mile commute to see him is well worth it.

I received a letter from Dr. Lochamy suggesting I find another Dr. I knew he had done this to other pt's but did not think I would be one of them, it seems my diabetes isn't in good enough control for him, so instead of helping me to get it right he just wrote me off, he is not helpful in giving out information to help you,and doesn't want you to ask questions, or to question his reasons why he does certain labs or test, his office staff changes so much, and aren't very friendly. Wish he didn't have so much ego. Goodby Richard, and I don't reccomend you to nobody.

Dr. Lochamy is an arrogant a$$. Not only is he totally unprofessional, he does nothing more than guess work! When you question him about test he does and why, he gets very upset and does not answer you. His nursing staff seem to lack knowledge. When I called for my test results and talked to the nurse and asked her what they meant she had no clue, then was offended when asked if she could find out. Dr. Lochamy then called me back and said he did not appreciate me questioning his nursing staff, WOW you just ran THOUSANDS of dollars in test and I'm not suppose to ask questions so I can understand them. His patient care is less than adequate. He told me all I needed to know was my test were negative. I had them sent to another doctor who said not only were two of the test unnecessary (5,242 dollars worth) but that I had a high inflammation rate that needed to be addressed, which Dr. Lochamy did not even mention. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this doctor! Worried about money not the patient.

DR lOCHAMY,IN MY OPINION,IS ONE OF THE MOST UNCARING DOCOTORS AROUND.. I WAS A PATIENT OF HIS FOR 2 YEARS IN 2002 THE ONLY REASON I CONTINUED TO GO TO HIM WAS THAT HE WAS THE ONLY INTERNIST IN JC AT THAT TIME. HE HAD TOO MAN PATIENTS TO CARE FOR ANY OF THEM CORRECTLY. THE MAIN PROBLEM I HAD WITH HIM WAS THAT EVEN WHEN IT WAS EVIDENT HE WAS WRONG HE WOULD NOT ADMIT IT AND WOULD TRY TO MAKE OTHERS BELIEVE THAT HE WAS RIGHT AND HIS PATIENT MISTAKEN. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM.
