I had convinced myself I was presenting with ALL the symptoms of IBC, and even the radiology staff, when reporting they had not observed any mass or abscess, and speaking of potentially needing an MRI in addition to the mammogram and ultrasound, had me terrified. From Sunday to Thursday, I was in despair. There is nothing in the world like seeing a specialist, Dr. Pappas immediately advised there were things missing, it was NOT IBC. As example, the flesh on my breast blanched when reclining and reddening when seated. She said the skin's texture was wrong too, My inflammation was likely a reaction to dye from a new bra .....so I'm sticking with white and nude form now on! How do I spell relief......PAPPAS! A co-worker recommended her, and I will be forever grateful.

Her office staff is terrible. Completely unsure of locations of patient files, claim that Dr. Pappas does not keep records, and find no urgency in forwarding information to other health care providers. I would not recommend based on the rudeness of her office staff.

she did not come and see me after the surgery for taking both breast off for cancer and she waited to loog to give me the ultrasound and myh cancer is in 3 stage and i am on trail dont know if i am going to live.

This is the second time I have seen Dr. Pappas who was recommended by my OB/GYN. She is warm, friendly and DOES NOT rush you. She gives individualized attention, She answers all questions. It appears that she shares her office with another doctor but the waiting room was not full or overbooked. I arrived early and was taken in on time. I recommend her. She is very easy to talk to.

was diagnosed with a "cyst" by a hot-shot radiologist. Went to Pappas because both my aunts died of breast cancer. Although I was only 36 she understood my concern and did a biopsy. Three weeks later she performed a lumpectomy. She said I would need chemo and radiation, which I successfully completed. She is down to earth, understanding and lets you speak your mind as the patient. Her office staff are very professional, but her office hours are lousy, no nights, only there a few days a week for a few hours a day. Great doctor, but it's not easy to make an appointment. I owe her my life, God bless her.

great doctor, i had a cystic fibrosis removed by her, the procedure went very well with no problems. i was 18 at the time, and she explained everything to me and how everything would be done very clearly. The staff was really helpful too! Highly recommended!

I had office appointments before & after the surgery and she and her office staff are always professional as well as extremely courteous, friendly, & helpful. She is extremely knowledgeable so from the medical standpoint you know you are in excellent hands. She is also compassionate & friendly so from a personal standpoint you feel at ease. She is very thorough and allows the patient as much time as they need to ask all questions. She never rushes you out of her office and she explains things in terms the patient understands. I have a family history of breast cancer & was a scared on my first visit but when I left her office I knew that the combination of her knowledge, professionalism & "bedside manner" made her the perfect doctor for whatever my tests would reveal and that my instinct was right.
