Dr Lucht is a great doctor. A little quirky and slightly lacking in pleasantries, but by no means is he rude. He is a specialist, and like any good specialist the demand is always high to see him. His schedule is pretty full so make sure to schedule in advance. I see every Dr. Lucht every 1-3 months (given my diagnoses I cannot see any of the other providers in the clinic) and he always gives me his full attention and plenty of time when I see him...so I never mind waiting to be seen. He discusses treatment at length with me, and always does a full history. He may not agree with my choices regarding treatment...but he does respect my decisions. When I had to get my MSLT done I expected to have to wait until my appointment to see him and see what was wrong, but he showed up at the hospital and told me on the spot. EXTREMELY knowledgeable on sleep disorders and will gladly answer all questions.

This doctor uses deceptive practices. If you call and make an appointment with him you won't see him. You will see a nurse and be charged for seeing him. I had 3 apponitments with him and have not ever seen him. When I called and complained he told me he didn't have time to see everyone. That was the way he operates. I didn't know it at the time, thinking I would see him eventually for the test results. That never happened. I will never use or recommend him.
