I am currently 7 months pregnant and being treated by Dr. Moretti. He has been wonderful. He checks up on me and my husband after every visit, listens to my questions and moves on. That is what I want in a Doctor, especially one who is high risk. His staff is AMAZING---organized, friendly, knowledgeable and returns calls within 2 hours. His wife, Sonya, is detailed orientated, as well as all of the techs and office staff. The front desk is ran kindly and efficiently. I do not usually write reviews like this, but felt very much compelled to do so, after reading some of the other below reviews.

Terrible. He is extremely rude, arrogant, and lacks empathy. He is not open to discussing any concerns or questions. Warning-will become quite irritable and demeaning if you make any effort to better understand your condition. Just wants you in and out...appears to be going through the motions continuing down days until retirement.

Moretti is an ok doctor if he sees you but half the time you see his staff and they do all the work for him, I used him for my 2nd pregnancy and saw him only a handful times after work, most of the time it was always his staff doing all the work and didn't even see him for a lot of the visits. I happen to have an issue 2 separate times during a holiday weekend and could not get in touch with Moretti on his cell phone, he does not call you back probably cause he is on vacation, he refers you to his staff at the hospital so they can handle everything for him. The second time was much more serious which resulted in me having an emergency csection and it occurred on a Sunday of a holiday weekend, his own staff could not reach him by phone, he never returned my phone call nor did he ever check up on me in the hospital after I delivered from another doctor I never met, he claimed he never received any of my calls, I call BS! I was very disappointed in how it was handled and thought it was very inconsiderate to not even stop by to see me in the hospital, that is just wrong! Went out of my way to use him and he didn't even deliver my baby, would not recommend him, his staff however was great.

I saw Dr. Moretti at Victory Memorial Hospital in 1995 when I was pregnant with my second daughter. He is the best ObGyn Specialist to goto in my opinion. He is extremely knowledgable and so nice. I remember one appointment I had a sonogram done at VMH and his daughter and her friend were there observing that day and asked me if they could show some of my sonogram pictures to their class in school. I said sure,of course!His daughter was such a nice girl too. Overall, Excellent Doctor, Excellent care. Highly recommend.

I have been seeing Dr. Moretti for over 19 years! Having the surprise of triplets, we were looking for someone that was up to date on all medical information to help not only me but helping go as close to full term with the triplets too! He is informative and other Doctors always recommend him if you have a high-risk pregnancy. My daughters also go to for all their gyn exams. Would highly recommend him!

Dr. Moretti is super polite and nice. Very logical and precise in his answers and has no disgusting jokes or private questions. Does best for the patient even if it's very unsual, as it was in my case. I was enduced all day and my body din't respond. He didn't rapture my waters, because i got stuck on 4cm and it was my 2nd delivery. He monitorred me for a while, making sure my baby and I were totally fine and let me go home and relax!!! Noone would ever do it. Any dr' would think about his reputation first and would like to get rid of me same day and be paid more with a c-section. He was checking me in the hospital every other day, until i was ready. I had another natural delivery to a big baby boy :) Richmond Univ Hospital experience was also great! It felt so cozy and friendly that i felt home. I was referred here from my sis in law who delivered 2 kids after 3 miscarriages in other offices. And now I strongly recommend this office - here you are in good hands!

This doctor office doesn't return phone calls, nor will they provide you with copies of your medical records. The office located inside RUMC hospital is dirty and smell (def not a place for a pregnant women to be)

I used dr>moretti in 2003 when he was seeing private patients...when i became pregnant again in 2011 i was pleased that he was seeing private patients again. He is very knowledgable. The only down fall is that at times you will have an appointment with him and he wont be there and you wind up seeing the nurse instead... The nurse is so knowledgable at times i preferred to talk to her over him... I was so happy that Dr.Moretti was able to deliver my babythis time last time it was christmas week and he was away. I have to say that with all my complications they never once ignored my concerns and was always willing to see me immediatly when needed!...

best dr - love that i have a dr i can count on...his staff is even better especially Jen - if ever i have a problem they get back to me immediatley..im looking forward to them delivering my baby when i get pregnant
