Waited 6 months for appointment to only get 5 minutes with Dr. All his tests and exams are done by assistants who were nice enough but shuffled me and a string of other patients from room to room without explanation. He was not outright rude but dismissive of my serious concerns and used an outdated borderline sexist analogy to explain things to me in a way he said he "thought I could understand."

Receptionist rude and defensive for leaving message on wrong telephone- no apology and or solution provided even though she had the correct number on my records. Doctor is critical and judges and scolds for not using the correct eye drops but won’t give out the drawer full of samples he has. Complains that online glasses are to blame for vision issues. They tape your mask to your face so when you remove it you pull your tender skin under your eyes. Check out lady treats you as if you have Covid. Will NOT return to this practice after being treated this way twice now. I can see why reviews are terrible. Sent husband and he was also treated poorly. No kindness or customer service skills - not even basic respect or kindness.

He is extremely rude. He has his own agenda which is making money off Lasik. He tries to throw that in as a recommended laser surgery while performing cataract surgery. He pushes really hard for this. I don't wear glasses, and when he came in after my exam with a woman (who used her fingers for the exam, moving them around) told me I was practically blind, LOL!!! He then started the push for lasik, didn't hardly mention cartaracts. Of course insurance doesn't cover lasik so it's a cash business for him. I just accepted the RX for glasses and went to get them (not at his office) and the woman told me it was a very mild RX. I would not recommend him to anyone. It's time for him to retire.

Extremely unsatisfied with results of cataract surgery. Not at all what we discussed. wanted to retain near signitsened and this is not at all what happened. He does not seem capable at listening to patients and seems not to be able to effectively perform the surgery that was discussed during appointments. If looking for a cataract surgeon look further than him. seems to be in it all for the money generated by the cataract surgery. Do NOT RECOMMEDNT if you want the results you are expecting.

Terrible practice. Made cataract surgery a nightmare. Friends and family have had cataract surgeries that were smooth as silk. This guy makes you prep for A MONTH! Not the three days everybody else does. Appointment after appointment just to get to bill insurance and on top of everything else you get the pleadure of driving into the city for the surgery. He was sued for malpractice and settled. No wonder.

Very RUDE! Does not like answering questions. Makes belittling comments. Acts like and talks to you as you are his kid, the way he talks to you. Do not trust a Doctor who does not like to be asked questions. He thus is not a good Doctor to go to.

Bad! Dr yelled at me during both my eye surgeries. Like I wasn't nervous enough. Spent most appointments with his gofer

After 10 years I have had enough of changed appointments. I will be changing to someone I hope is more reliable. My time is also worth something. I think the assumption is I am a Senior citizen therefore have all the time in the world to sit around a doctor's office. Fact is I am a full time employed Senior.

Dr Wolin didn't have time to hear about my current eye problem. If he saw me for 5 minutes, that was long. His staff didn't explain what they were doing. Just told me to do what they said. They weren't interested in any history either.
