Bad customer service. Front office was unprofessional. I showed up on time for my appt. Waiting room was empty and they said they didn’t have time to see me. Wanted me to come back another day. What a mess.

I DO NOT recommend this practice. Have you ever been yelled at by your doctor??? Melissa Young was impatient and disrespectful to me today. A patient of hers for more than 12 years since she was at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. When she left I took the longer drive to follow her to her new Freehold practice mainly because she has been following me for so long. She may know a lot, but kindness goes a long way. Not to mention her unpredictable, moody, and terrible bed side manner. Heaven forbid she spends more than 5 minutes on you. Always in a rush. Just because someone is a doctor DOES NOT give him/her the right to be mean. There are so many choices nowadays. Don't waste your hard earned money here just to feel like a statistic/number and to be billed for less than mediocre service when you deserve better!

Dr Young is very a friendly and caring doctor. She is very prompt. I never had to wait more than 5 minutes to see her. Every visit she reviews my lab results with me provides a printout at the end of your visit. She also reviews my blood sugar results every week and makes adjustments as needed. One of her qualities that I like about her is she gives encouragement in dealing with my condition .In my case its diabetes and it has really helped me. The office is very clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. I have recommended her to friends and family.

The doctors here are very knowledgeable and the office staff is wonderful. Anytime I have called the office, the girls have helped me with whatever I needed, ie. needing refills or lab results. The office was clean, and I was seen within 5 minutes of arriving!!! Which seeing any doctor these days can be an all day event. Although there may be a wait to actually make an appointment, I would definetly recommended this practice. The best doctors around!

I almost left the office before I saw Dr. Young because it was sooo dirty. The rugs were stained, the gargbage cans were overflowing, the receptionist's chair was taped together on the arms and the seat and the whole office smelled as though it had been flooded. It was so musty I didn't want to breath in the air. I did stay and was very happy with Dr. Young and her knowledge and help. However, I am still not sure if I will go back because of the dirty condidtions.

I was diagnosed at the age of 4 yrs old with type 1 diabetes. I am now 30 yrs old and have seen more endocrinologists than I care to name. Dr. Young is by far the best of the best. My A1C had never been below a 9 and now I am a 7! Her knowledge and concern regarding my health is above all the rest. Unlike other physicians I have seen (and I have seen many), she takes the time to listen to what I am telling her and does not brush anything I say to the side. She checks my insulin pump readings every week and adjusts accordingly. I can not thank Dr. Young and her staff for being so wonderful and accommodating to my needs and providing me with excellent care and support. Diabetes can be a very difficult disease to live with and manage but Dr. Young and her staff make it bearable. They literally probably helped save my life. Thank You Dr. Young and staff especially Kristen! You are all a true blessing!

My experience was the worst dealing with her !!!!!! She needs to put herself in the other persons position before she treats people the way she does!!!!

She treats you as a computer file and does not acknowledge your concerns.

My personal experience with Dr. Young and her staff is disappointing, frustrating and to a great degree unprofessional. Her staff has been consistently rude and unaccomodating when calling, even for things a simple as making an appointment. The doctor was laughingly dismissive about my care, uncaring and her "bedside manner" which quite poor. She treats her patients as computer files, numbers and not as a person... not taking time to listen and/or showing interest on a personal level.
