I was bleeding thru my lower GI and went to my regular PCP. He was out sick so I was told that Dr Karen Cadman could see me instead. The bleeding was severe so I acquiesced in spite of the fact that Dr Cadman was an unknown young female MD. I was not happy about it. But, what can ya' do? Dr Cadman said that she should really have a look "up there" and asked me what I thought about that. I expressed that, as an entertainer and rock n roll musician that "I think I'd rather die" than have a lovely young lady finger painting in my effluent. It's just about as effed up as I can imagine. But, in the end (not to pun) Dr Cadman prevailed upon my good sense and went to work up my Hershey highway. She made me feel as comfortable as any man could be with someone "taking a dirt road" to his interior. Dr. Karen Cadman is an awesome practitioner of medicine. I highly recommend her to anyone, young or old. She's a real gem.

Felt well cared for - I have seen her several times over the past year. She listens and is knowledgable. I have never felt rushed or hurried with any of the appointments even though the waiting room was full. Everyone was kind and I would recommend her to any age person. She reviews my concerns and I have left always very satisfied with the appointments.

If you like: A doctor who never calls you to follow-up on your health problem and make sure you are well after treating you(not even a phone call from a nurse) then, this is the doctor for you. If you like: A doctor who lets you leave the office without telling you what your health problem is; instead you get some woman you have never met telling you to take these drugs and not even she tells you what your health problem is. Then, this is the doctor for you. If you like: A doctor who can never see you the same day but has a great nurse you can see! Then this is the doctor for you. Finally, if you like: To be treated like an uninsured customer and you are NOT uninsured and you want a doctor who treats you like a 3rd class citizen, Then this is the doctor for you. I would rather go to urgent care! At least there, I know I will be seen by a doctor and will leave knowing what is wrong with me.

My insurance company was not listed, so I could not choose one. I have been going to Dr Cadman for a number of years. I have always felt rushed and their has neve been an extended conversation of my 'issues' at the time. I have never felt I was heard in any one of my appts. I have finally made the decision that I am changing Dr's.

Dr Cadman is very comprehensive,explores all possibities, spends plenty of time during consults to discuss all concerns and even corrected an insurance problem on the spot! My health is complicated by several chronic diseases. Dr Cadman coordinates my care with my four specialist MDs.The office includes a lab and my results are promptly called and sent to me. She is refreshing and I look forward seeing her for appointments.

I've had Dr Cadman for 5-6 years. There is not enough time or room to comment. I LOVE her! I'm 58 and have seen a lot of doctors in my life. I'm also a harsh critic. She is very caring and explains things well. I'm never rushed. My wife whos mom was an MD is a "know it all" and she loves Dr. Cadman also.Gary M

Dr. Cadman is the most amazing doctor. She is smart and caring. She has been my doctor for years. She is up on the latest in medicine and she has the best bedside manner. My family has had many medical issues, and she has been there for us through thick and thin. You cannot do better.

I have been going to Dr. Cadman for about 6 years. I LOVE her. She does not always tell me what I want to hear, but she is VERY caring and generous with her time. It always surprises me when she spends so much time with me at my annual exam. I never feel rushed. I highly recommend her.

I adore Dr. Cadman. I've been seeing her for a couple of years now, and she's incredibly sensitive. A great listener. She's thorough, efficient, and intelligent. She keeps abreast of the latest trends and advancements in medicine. I'm sure the nightmares of organized health care make practicing medicine and helping people almost more trouble than it's worth in this day and age of litigious patients. (Especially in CA. Malpractice insurance is outrageous.) I'm not sure about her other patient, if she was on an HMO or PPO, but my providers have bumped me before. Anyway, bottom line is that Dr. Cadman is really innovative and progressive MD with an amazingly caring and personal bedside manner. She's fabulous. As a big scaredy-cat who hates the doctor, she gets my highest recommendation.
