chapman is very knowledgeable and charming when you finally get in exam rm -
his staff however, across the board is EXTREMELY NEGLECTFUL -
in the end, repeated failures of his staff reflect upon chapman, as he was given due notice and was unable or unwilling to address continuing multiple staff who were disrespectful, which was manifest by neglect, and so i left his care -
there are many urologists in seattle who i'm sure offer much more to a patient -

I scheduled an appointment several months in advance, then his office called to reschedule my appointment a month later and said he didn't have any availability for many more months. So unprofessional.

I have been seeing Dr. Chapman for 10 years and am continually impressed with every visit. Dr. Chapman is very knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and thorough...as it needs to be with prostate exams and care. He takes extra time to get to know your complete medical background and to answer questions with patience and a high level of detail. He also searches for solutions and provides options. I strongly recommend Dr. Chapman because so many providers these days do not really care about "your" health!

Dr. Chapman is a very caring doctor and his procedures are very, very thorough. Furthermore, he spends as much time as you need in order to answer any questions or concerns you may have. I would much rather have a doctor like him than someone who just comes in and spends 5 minutes and leaves. Because of his thoroughness, I now rate other doctors by his standards.I just wish he had a clone, especially since we've moved to Arizona

I cannot rate his skills or knowledge because he was more than 1 hour late. When I inquired after waiting for 1 hour, his staff told me that he ran late from a surgery and there are 2 more patients before me. I understand that sometimes unexpected things happen but they knew this when they checked me in and had no courtesy of letting me know so I can decide whether to reschedule or not. They told me this only AFTER I waited for 1 hour and then only Because I asked why he is not seeing me yet. I cannot stand doctors who don't value patients' time.

Dr. Chapman cared for me after an emergency admission. Found out I had a lot of kidney stones. Multiple treatments with two surgicals. Kidney stones are now gone and both kidneys are healthy. He made sure my procedures and recovery went smoothly. Highly recommend him. Bring a book if you need to wait.

Dr. Chapman is the absolute best surgeon I have ever had, and I have had 20 surgeries. He explained everything in as much detail as I wanted. During our first meeting, he spent over an hour with me explaining the options, risks, drawing pictures, etc. I was amazed that he spent so much time with one patient's first visit. As he ran various procedures on me, I experienced less pain than I ever had for the same procedures performed by other doctors.

You may have to wait to see him, but he is worth waiting for. When I was recovering from surgery, he would check on me at 7AM and 10PM the same day!
