Blue Cross / Blue Shield
When I was referred to Dr. Ostrowe he started me on a tx plan to help reduce my pain & allow me to maintain my independence as much as possible. Much later, we discussed benefits of a spinal cord implant & he did my surgery. Because of his immense help prior & post surgery, & later when new problems started - he's a 5 for his kind, caring attitude. He was a Godsend! He would remain a 5, but I & others sensed a gradual change in him. He appeared indifferent, less caring. When I had problems with my implant 3 seperate times & messages were left on his answering machine we NEVER received a call back. When I initially met Dr. Ostrowe I was married and had great insurance coverage. I now have Medicare. The last time I was in his office I was told "Dr. Ostrowe doesn't like to fool with Medicare patients". At present my implant is not working at all. My fiance' placed a call to his office days ago. Once again we have not received a return call back. Am I an outcast now because of Medicare?
