This doctor lacks empathy & attention to detail, basic human needs when a person desires it most. He was quick to judge and rushed through. Billed me over the top for a procedure I didn't even come in for.

I took my husband to the ER at Northwest Community Hospital in Chipley Florida. He saw doctor Spitzer. First off he, the doctor insulted me to start! He gave my husband no help. The doctor wrote him a prescription for Loratab 7 and he wasn't even in pain. He wrote a priscription for nausea and he wasn't throwing up. On the prescription pad he wrote the names of two meds to follow up on and said they were OTC. One was Immodium which we had tried for three days and wasn't working and the other was Lomotil. I get to the drug store only to find Lomotil is prescription only. So I go back to the ER to get a prescription for Lomotil and Spitzer wouldn't write one. So no help at all.Isn't it againt the law to prescribe narcotics that are not needed?
