I am very thankful for Dr. Capen and his staff. When they initially refused or caused delay, Dr. Capen pushed the insurance company to provide treatments. He listens to my concerns and is very easy to talk to. He has made sure that I have understood every aspect of my treatments and surgeries.He has followed through with the referrals he has made and is very familiar with my case. My injuries will require treatment for life and I hope he can remain my physician throughout.

Funny how other reviews don't put how much they paid? Nothing.. .for workers comp. I had severe back and knee injury and helped me a great deal. He even referred me out for other treatments he thought would help that were more conservative. Work Comp is tough enough and few doctors want to deal with it. So some of you need to get a grip. Talk to your doctor even if you disagree and you THINK they missed something. And DON'T tell me weight loss is bad for your health. You need to read up on your condition.

Dr. Capen was the only one who figured out why my back was hurting. I treated with the company dr for two months.I had severe pain going down to my leg. Dr. Capen ordered and MRI and a neve test. I have a herniated disc with nerve damage. I was finally able to get the treatmetn I needed.

Went in for spine consult came out with diet pills? Was not asked about other medical conditions or what I even eat. I have severe anemia and gallbladder disease so this is the worst thing you could do to me. Plus I am not obese but have a little weight thanks to not being able to do as much AFTER my back got worse. Capen ignored this and told me my back will feel better. FAIL. He's got some racket going to use worker comp to pay for these diet pills. Since he failed to ask anything about my actual health, it scares me that he has no problem handing these out. It could make things worse for me if I took them, especially with active gallbladder disease. Why are doctors so negligent?

Worst dr visits ever. In the waiting room I see upwards of 30 patients standing room only. The staff is terrible and have made too many mistakes costing me money on disability! Dr seems to drive to 4 offices in so cal and he seems to be there just for the money. BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR PAPERWORK. THE STAFF WILL MAKE MISTAKES AND NOT SEND IN DOCUMENTS. STAY AWAY FROM HIM IF YOU CAN. Worst experience ever. Be prepared to wait 3 hours!!

DO NOT USE DR. CAPEN IF YOU ARE ON WORKERS COMP. HE WORKS CLOSER WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANY THAN HE DOES WITH THE PATIENTS. I RECEIVED MUCH BETTER CARE FROM HIS ASSOCIATES THAN I DID FROM HIM. HE SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED BY THE MEDICAL BOARD OF CALIFORNIA FOR THE WAY HE PRACTICES MEDICINE. I WOULD ALSO ASK THAT HE BE INVESTIGATED BY WORKERS COMP. I AM ON DISABILTY DUE TO A WORK INJURY AND HAVE HAD HORRIBLE BACK PAIN AND SUFFERING. I FELT HE DID NOT CARE ALL ALONG. I HAVE BEEN IN DESPERATE NEED OF HELP AND HE WAS NOT GIVING IT TO ME. I HAD TO FIND A NEW DOCTOR AND THANK GOD I DID. Been disabled for almost 4 years and would not help me get ssi. I am in cronic neck pain and suffering and I feel he does not care. Would not recomend him if you are on workmans comp in California. Seems like he meeks well but disreguarded many things I told him. I have been in desperate need of help and I am definabtally not getting it from him. I always felt as if he wasn't listening to my complaints on how serious my injury is. He gave me an MRI in the back of a mack truck hauled from upstate. Seems kinda fishy to me as he is a wc doctor.
