I'd highly recommend Dr. Shashoua to friends & family. He's a wonderful, wonderful doctor. He's kind, he's respectful, he's knowledgeable, and most importantly he listens. His office is gorgeous (I thought I was entering a spa!). And, his staff is really great too.

The staff was always polite and prompt. I worked most with Dr. Shashoua and Sara. I have only two concerns - One, that I did not get to see Dr. Shashoua but a couple of times. Sarah was great, but especially when having surgery, I would like to see the doctor more than his assistant. My other concern was that my surgery was scheduled for 7:00 AM and I didn't roll into surgery until 4:00 PM. It made for a long, hungry day sitting and waiting as it went to 9:00, then 11:00, then 2:00... However, with that being said, if I was the one being put through due to an emergency, I would appreciate it. So while that was uncomfortable, I certainly understand. I love them all and my surgery was a success and I feel much better. I would not hesitate to have Dr. Sashoua do surgery on me again. I highly recommend him and his staff.

Dr. Shashoua performed an extensive prolapse repair on me, with great results. I was apprehensive about undergoing surgery, but felt reassured after my visits with Dr. Shashoua and his nurse practioner, Sarah. On the day of the surgery, Dr. Shashoua was very comforting. He and his staff are very knowledgeable, experienced, caring and professional.

Dr. Shashoua and his staff are a stellar team. It quickly became obvious to me that Dr. Shashoua and the office nurses are very experienced in this specialty field. Both the doctor and the nurses are personable, always making me feel valued. Now, six weeks post surgery, I am thrilled to have regained my quality of life. I am glad I chose Dr. Shashoua to be my doctor and surgeon. I am confident in this doctor to make the best decisions in my surgery and throughout my care. Also, the nurse staff is responsive to all my questions. This is a very professional office, from staff who process the billing, make appointments, coordinate surgery, to the techs who run the testing. They each play an important part on Team Shashoua.

Dr. Shashoua corrected a bladder sling from another surgeon. He did an awesome job and 6 weeks out, I am working out and running again and feeling great! He also performed a labiaplasty and it is so much better. I would definately recommend him to my friends. He was great! Now I can sneeze and laugh in peace!

I was very upset to find out the morning after my surgery that the Dr would not be coming to check on me as he had left town. My husband said the Dr. saw him after the surgery and stated he would come see me that night as he would be leaving for vacation in the morning... He never came. We did not know about this vacation until after the surgery had been completed. I was not told this was going to happen before the surgery. A nurse came to the hospital to do my release exam from the hospital, I had many questions that were not answered. I feel this is very unprofessial and if I would have known this was going to happen i would have not had this Dr. perform my surgery.

I went to Dr. Shashoua for about 10 years. At first I really liked him. He is friendly and very gentle. However, I always felt rushed and he did not spend enough time answering my questions. The final straw was when he was really pushing me to have the essure procedure done in his office and I was not comfortable with it. He even said that I didn't need to have the test 3 months after to ensure that the devices were correctly placed, as is clearly recommended by the manufacturer and all of the available literature. He was very patronizing and cavalier about my concerns and was really trying to convince me to get it, which makes me no longer trust him or feel like he can be my doctor. Shortly after this he left his practice to specialize, so I now have a new Dr.
