Dr Anderson is retiring! He's been my doctor for over 30 years. I like his bluntness; and would never say he has a poor bedside manner; nor have I ever noticed unsanitary conditions.

He's been an awesome pediatrician for our four girls. Very quick yet thorough, which is awesome since we schedual their yearly exams all at the same time. Has addressed any and all concerns we nay have had in a very natter of fact way. Some people don't care for his brusqueness, but its been a life saver when taking four small children in at the same time. We were in and out in an hour with all our needs met and all happy and healthy. Even answered a non related health question for my husband just because he cared :) a great doc, with speedy care. His staff isn't always the best at punctuality but its worth the wait sometimes to get the care you deserve. Thanks Dr. A

I have yet to be impressed by his staff and my experience in dealing with Dr. Anderson was not all that much better. I understand he is well liked and respected around the Peninsula, but I find his personal skills to be lacking. It has taken his staff over 2 weeks to submit my referral and paperwork to another doctor in Anchorage, therefore I've been waiting, and cannot make an appointment. It is very frustrating to call repeatedly, and waste my time trying to get simple answers. I'll not be seeing him again.

I have very mixed feelings on Anderson. I have seen him say some stupid things to friends, as well as myself (like the risk of rupture giving birth vaginally after a cesarean is 1 in 200... He said it was 1 in 10) but at the same time, I respect him for his honesty (he did NOT try to blame my birth for the infection I had after I gave birth at home, without a doctor or midwife (even though he did lecture). He easily could have blamed it on my birth to prove a point, but he didn't. He was honest and I respect that. He also helped me through some other unrelated things. Like I said. I have mixed feelings. I believe his intentions are good, but he does need to keep up-to-date if he is going to be delivering babies and caring for women in that time.

Worst physician experience ever. My husband and I call him Dr. dirty fingers because his fingers had dirt underneath them and a checkbook hanging out of his back pocket during the entire procedure. It was the most painful experience of my life. We went to him for an egg retrieval and he was very sneaky about showing us what he was able to retrieve. Both my husband and I doubted whether or not he was actually going to discard the eggs because he kept looking at them under the microscope saying what great condition they were in. We went to him for an egg reduction because I had overstimulated and I didn't want to chance high order multiples with an IUI. He poked extremely long needles through my uterine wall to reach my ovaries. I screamed and begged for him to stop. I would never recommend this doctor to any human being. We ended up years later flying to Seattle for the best experience ever and multiple successes (without pain) Please do not go to this doctor because he is close!

Dr. Anderson and his staff were extremely nice to us. If you are not use to the Alaska Culture he may come off a little harsh, but he really is a fun, loving man and really is there to help you. We went to him for three invirto fertilization procedures and would again in a heartbeat. I refer everyone to him.

Dr. Anderson has cared for all four of our children. While his bedside manner with parents is a bit brusque, my kids liked him from the beginning. I also feel very comfortable with him being my micro-preemie's sole care provider on the Peninsula. Not only does he provide knowledgeable and great care during regular office hours, during emergencies he makes himself more available than any other care provider our family has seen (and without extra cost!). Thanks, Dr. Anderson!

Dr. Anderson is good if your paying. We paid for the whole procedure and had plenty of eggs. The first implantation was good and done without a hitch. I had two more implantation and I was treated like a second class citizen each time. He'll do his job but the last transfers were very unprofessional and uncaring. Once you paid your money to Dr Anderson and need extra transfers get ready to be not treated well.
