I have been going to this Dr. for over a year. I am a veteran and also receive my medications at the va hospital.I went to this Dr. With the list of medications I had been prescribed by the va. Anytime the va. would change my scripts I would make an appointment with Dr. Magruder to see if this change was o.k.. Recently my va. Dr. abruptly stopped my valium after taking 40mg.for 15 years. I went to Dr. Magruder about this.He knew my medical history and prescribed a muscle relaxer for back muscle spasms. I know now were the first signs of benzodiazapin withdrawl. He did not as well as the va doctors did not tell me of how to withdraw from this drug. He also told me he would not refill this drug. I am sure any doctor knows of the horrible affects abruptly stopping this drug can have.He is leaving the practice and reffering his patients to Dr. Denise Johnson.See dr.s rating on this. I have been through a nightmare.I then went to Dr. Denise Johnson whom he is leaving his practice to.Scary!
