I have seen Dr. Torquato a few times for minor things over the past couple years (haven't had a reason to see him lately!) and every time, he was thorough and you could tell he genuinely cared about you and your wellbeing. On a down side, his front desk lady is not exactly friendly and when you are sick or dealing with some unknown health issue, the last thing you want is to be “greeted” by a cold and unfriendly person. On several occasions at check-in, she made me feel like I was just interrupting her work – even though, without the patient, she wouldn’t have any work to do. I was unsure if I was even welcome there. But once you get past her, the rest of the staff are great! I rated punctuality lower only because you could end up waiting quite a while, even if you made an appointment. But from what I could tell, the wait is really only because he will take as much time as necessary with each patient. He is efficient, but he never makes you feel like you're being rushed out the door. Also, I like that he has a little later office hours so you don’t have to take as much time off of work to get in to see him. On one visit in particular, I had to have a minor procedure done. I had had a similar procedure done a few months prior to that by a Dr. at Kootenai Urgent Care in Post Falls and I left the Kootenai Urgent Care COMPLETELY traumatized. So naturally, I was apprehensive to have a similar procedure done again. But Dr. Torquato and his nurse (who held my hand practically the whole time!) were so understanding and took every step to make sure I was comfortable the whole way. I was astounded at how tender and caring they were. I wouldn’t have received the same treatment anywhere else!

Always ready to go the extra mile and very knowledgeable. I love his bedside manner with my son who wanted the doctor to pray with him about the pain in his leg, and he did.

He is a wonderful physician and a wonderful person. One of a handful physicians in my lifetime that genuinely cares about his patients.
