While Dr. Gibson did an adequate job of diagnosing minor concerns, when it really counted she missed it big time. My daughter presented classic Celiac symptoms to Dr. Gibson for years. By the time it was diagnosed her symptoms were so advanced that all of her body systems were affected dramatically. The most damage however was when Gibson told my daughter that all of her pain she was experiencing was in her head. I can't think of a worse way for a doctor to treat a child.

Dr Gibson is rude and condescending. She treated my husband and me as if we were incompetent and even laughed at us once when we asked her a question about our baby. She was very dismissive regarding our concerns and told us we didn't have to bring our child in to her office "with every little sniffle." Our little guy was suffering from undiagnosed and untreated chronic ear infections under Dr Gibson's care. We knew something was wrong! Needless to say, we switched pediatricians and our child was treated with care and diagnosed properly. Soon after he had tubes put in his ears. It changed his life! He is happy and healthy now. Now more "sniffles." I would NEVER recommend Dr Gibson to anyone. hide details

Good at giving immunization shots otherwise ignores your symptoms and does not care. She can be very rude as the others pointed out.

I went to her a few times. One time I went for a UTI she prescribed medication. I felt better, but not good. A week later I went back to say I thought the UTI didn't clear up. She was very nasty told me "I GAVE YOU (what ever the medication was) AND YOU DO NOT HAVE UNARIY INFECTION ANY MORE!!! She never did a test. I went home feeling like an idiot. A month later I went to another doctor complaining of the same thing. He said I tested TWICE as high as most with this problem. It took two more rounds of medication to clear the UTI. I will never go to Gibson again or would I take even a dog to her!!!!!!!!!

After enjoying the world-class services of Olentangy Pediatrics in Columbus Ohio for years, I was disgusted and disheartened by this doctor in Lancaster Ohio. I tried (2) times to give her a chance but by the time I completed the 2nd office visit I knew I was done. She actually asked me if "I wanted to just pretend that her immunization records were okay?" Did not even offer to help me read the records or resolve the problem.On her way out she informed me that my 3yr. old was "somewhat tremulous" and offered no explaination. (Luckliy I knew what "tremulous meant!) I would suggest that she go practice in a correction facility where the patients would be more like her personality wise.
