I had such high hopes when I went to see this doctor. Sadly he does not return phone calls and relies heavily upon TSH numbers.

I'm a physician myself, and I find Dr. Jennings to be extremely knowledgeable, not just about endocrinology but medicine in general. He is extremely helpful. He is my endocrinologist and I refer my own patients to him as well.

I have been going to Dr. Jennings for about 6-7 years since being diagnosed with a thyroid disorder. I find him to be very knowledgable and easy to talk to. He takes his time and does not rush you. He has always called with blood results if there is a change in my condition. He has even called me on Sunday morning. It has only been the past year or so that he has had any help in his office reception area, and yes they do seem young and inexperienced. He seems like the sort who would want to give a young person with no experience a chance. He used to do it all himself. He even takes your blood personally and I have very hard veins to get blood from. He has never had a problem. I would recommend him highly.

I traveled almost 2 hours each way to see Dr.Jennings. Dr Jennings was approachable, nice and seemed concerned. I waited approx 20 minutes to see him. The visit went well, he said he would call soon with the test results. Said he was checking everything out. I really thought I had taken some positive action to resolving some health issues. Well 3 calls and 3 weeks later absolutely nothing. No word from the good doctor. I researched this Doc online and I am really beginning to think all those wonderful reviews are a bunch of crock! This is very frustrating.

I arrived to this ''family medicine practice'' to find Dr. Jennings office in the basement of the building. The office is old, the bathroom is quite DIRTY~. The doctor has no HIPPA policy, which was the first RED FLAG. The doctor led me into the exam room, did not close the door, with the receptionist within an ear shot away from the room, giving me, the patient NO PRIVACY - second RED FLAG> After talking, examing me, taking blood he told me he thought I was probably menopausal, quite shocking since I had just been to my GYN who told me I have NO SIGNS of being menopausal. THis guy siad he wants to put me on HORMONES???? He then tells me that he will call me over the weekend with the lab results. I NEVER hear from the office for ONE MONTH. I call and call... FINALLY I DEMAND for the results to be faxed to me. I See that me thyroid is OVERACTIVE and that I am NOT MENOPAUSAL> CAVIOT EMPTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!BUYOR BEWARE!

I had troubles with call backs, too. They don't keep track of their accounts well. I paid my copay with cash and kept the receipts. Three appointments later, I got a bill for the 1st copay. I had paid that at the time of the visit. When I called to tell them they made a mistake, they scolded me, telling me that I needed to keep my receipts. I had. So I mailed them my receipt with their bill. They seem to have very young, inexperienced people manning the desk. However, I had a terrible time with other endocrinologists. Dr Jennings is very knowledgeable. He does listen. And he solved my problem, which was a very tricky one.

All went well with the office visit and lab work, it was the return phone call that never happened that finally had made me change Drs. Dr. Jennings left a message on my recorder to call him if I had any questions. Well, I called 5 times (2 times I left a message and 3 times I spoke to the office assistent) I never received a return phone call. Needless to say I have found another Dr. who cares enough to call when I have a concern about my lab work and medications.

Dr. Jennings took a detailed history. The lab results were mailed to my home and he called me the following evening to go over the results with me. I am pleased to have found such a caring doctor and that he was able to diagnose the problem immediately.

Dr. Jennings is very caring and knowledgeable. He takes his time with you and since I have been seeing him for 18 years,we have a lot to talk about. He is a very good listener. I consider him the best doctor I see. I also have never waited more than 5 minutes to see him.

very caring, listens to what you say. He did not call me back originally because the lab lost my blood work. After several calls to his office., it was corrected and I still continue to see him. He is an excellent doctor.
