As polite and nice Dr. Jennings was, I traveled quite a distance to see him. Imagine my disappointment when after 2 phone calls I never received a call back to review my lab results that he said he would do happily over the phone so I did't have to make the trip. That was 2 years ago. Today, I have advanced Lymes disease. Evidence of autoimmune disease was obvious in the bloodwork he did (which I obtained copies of). But to simply dismiss a sick patient, even if you had no idea what they had without so much as a return phone call is simply not an ethical practice. Perhaps poor office staffing, but after 2 phone calls, the second in which I pleaded to have him return my call, I think not.

I had seen another dr, before this who acted God-Like, impersonal and treated me like a disease process not a person. I read Dr. Jennings reviews and immediately felt at ease. I was early for my appointment, taken in early, comforted by Dr. Jennings caring and concern, knowledge and plan of action. He told me he would call me with my blood work results in a few days, HE called me HIMSELF the very next evening (SATURDAY EVENING), what doctor, firstly calls you on the phone (not his assistant), calls promptly to ease your stress the next DAY (again a Saturday evening) and then, sets up an appointment, himself, for you, on the phone right then and there? I am a nurse and here to tell you, I have run into NONE, NADDA, ZERO, except Dr. Jennings :) During my appointment, his calming voice and explanations, (he moved his stool right beside me), provided me with a level of calm that can't be explained. He was like a loving relative who truly listened. Worth the travel!!! Thank you Dr.Jennings

I drive 2 hours to see Dr. Jennings. I did find the basement to be something of a surprise but I really don't care as long as he makes me feel better! After about 3 visits we have my meds on the right track. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for all the bells and whistles in furniture.

He is the recommended doctor in Thyroid Disorder books. I've seen 2 other Endos from Jefferson and Pennsylvania University Hospitals who were not able to help me, however, Jennings came to my rescue and my husband and I adore him! He has changed my life and my quality of life has improved.

After reading some of the negative reviews on Dr. Jennings I had to respond. There are no other doctors like him. Forget the complaints on the office appeal, forget the complaints on the hipaa law stuff ect. Is that what you look for in a dr??? Most doctors have the ego, the plam pilot, the God complex, and the haggy office women, he has none of these things. Its just him and he is wonderful. I love Dr. Jennings. He has seen me through some very though times over ten years, when I was difficult/sick/had cancer ect. Never once did he lose his patience with me or talk down to me or get fed up. When I foolisly sought out other drs. he gladly aways took me back. I dont know how other patients feel or give bad reviews but to me Dr. Jennings means the world, he cares about his patients and they care about him. I wish more drs were like him, sad fact most are not. I would rather have a sympathetic ear, a hug and reassurance from my doctor than a cushy office any day. Love this man.

Dr. Jennings is an extremely wonderfui doctor!! I cannot get over the bad reviews people have given him on here! It's crazy and pure NONSENSE! He takes so much time sitting and talking with you and checking into all your ailments. He calls you all all different hours to make sure you are home and he gets a hold of you! He has ALWAYS called me back! VERY THOROUGH! Mr father also goes to Dr. Jennings and swears by him! He helps him with everything. I would refer Dr. Jennings to anyone! Excellent Dr.! He even answers his own phone!!

My husband n I visited him and he drew blood for both of us. When the result came back(I got a copy) and ther seems to be a mistake because it indicates that I have diebetes (my husband has diebetes). I called at least 10 times and he never calls back. He must have mixed up my husband's blood. I am thinking of calling my insurance company.

I think he is a very nice man, just not a good doctor. He was open to unusual therapies but didn't respond to phone calls and his secretary called me about our meeting, I called back, didn't hear back, called again that morning to confirm and the office was closed. It's a 1.5 hour drive so I left a message saying to please call me to confirm, never heard back so I didn't go, called at my appt time and no one was there. Left another message and never heard back. I was dissappointed as I really needed help and had waited to find someone - not easy in the area. Hope it was a one-off and others have better luck.

I visited Dr. Jennings due to his rave reviews on Mary Shomon's aboutthyroid website. It seems obvious to me now that only the positive is posted there. I could care less about the facility. I just want to get well. My wait was not long. He listened to my history. He did bloodwork and followed up in a timely matter. I knew I was hashi/hypo and was sensitive and could not tolerate meds. I explained to him my history. He noted low iron, had me start SloFe, followed up and when levels reached "14" told me to stop iron? After three visits I still had problems tolerating meds. He never tried alternate meds, looked into addrenal issues, etc etc. I telephoned and spoke with reception 2X regarding chest pain, short breath.. I said I'd come in for exam if necessary.. He never returned my calls.. Called back 2 months later.. I already had a new Dr. I was driving an hour to see Jennings.. Waste of my time and money $$ If you have simple issues he'll be ok I guess.
