My first experience with Dr. Kayvanfar was in 2002 when I ended up in the ER with a broken hip. I was very impressed at the time. When in 2017 I had terrible back pain I immediately made an appointment with Dr.K, Turned out I had Spinal Stenosis, I learned to manage it and Dr. K never pushed for surgery, instead told me when I am ready he will explain the procedure. In November of2020 I slipped 3 discs (L-4 & 5 and S-1) . Unfortunately because of a bone issue and Covid I did not get surgery until early March 2021. Dr. K thoroughly explained the procedure to my husband and me and showed us all the hardware. My husband was also confident that I was in good hands. It was a 9 hour surgery and to my utter amazement I never had any pain during recovery nor afterwards. I was dealing with nerve regeneration but that was to be expected and as far I I am concerned just an inconvenience. My back feels great, life is normal again. I have to add that the nurses in ICU and on the floor told me that Dr K is the best and several were also his patient. His office staff has been accommodating and pleasant. I am very grateful!!!!!

I was admitted to the hospital through emergency and did not get to select my own doctor. I felt very forunate that Dr. Kayvanfar was chosen as my Dr. I consider that my spinal fusions were carried out in the best and most professional manner. I wouldn't hesitate to use Dr. Kayvanfar again.

I went to Dr.kayvanfar after my car accident. He took x- rays (which he never looked at) and said that nothing was wrong with me, that I wanted attention. I had already been in an aspen collar for 2 months, and was having SEVERE pain in not only y neck, but also my back. He also acted like he was God and knew everything. He was an *** and very arragont(?). He did say that he would like me to go back in 2 months, and he would do a spinal surgery on my neck. If nothing was wrong with me, why would he want to do surgery, I don't know. I decided to go to a neurosurgeon, who I will not name, and what a change. My neuro said that my neck was broken in 2 places, and my back was broken from L4 and everything underneath that level. None the less, I had my cervical spinal surgery 2 days later. I have also gotten my back surgery, and I'm doing so much better, no thanks to "Dr." Kayvanfar. Do not go to him for anything! Save yourself from him!
