Dr. Zimly saved my Husbands life when he had varices on his eshpogous, after a week he was sent to Colorado where they treated him and said if he had not been diagnosed correctly he could have died. He also has been right on the dot about 2 other problems we had, that wasn't caught before going to another Dr. Dr.Zimley is a very good listener and very humble man.

Chronic pain sufferers prepare to suffer. I was told by Dr. Zmily that the ER is not a pain clinic and that my Pain Specialist needed to make sure I had the right pain medicines. This was on a weekend and my PS was in Colorado a good hour away. The PS had even told me to go to the local ER before if my pain was getting unbearable. One time when I was in the ER, Dr. Zmily said, what's going on, I've got ten other patients. I overdosed once, because I new I would get no help at the ER when my pain medicine wasn't working and I took more to try to get some relief. Which was dumb on my part, but when your agonizing, you often try to find some comfort where you can find it. Also, you are constantly interrupted when you try to explain something to him. Although, I do think he is knowledgeable about his profession he needs to be a little more sympathetic to people who suffer everyday with pain.
