Made poor decisions that cost me a month in the hospital and a colostomy.

I'm not surprised that people said she was rude and not very friendly..quite honestly, women need coddled and are too sensitive. if You want ro know what's wrong with you and what the course of action is?...dr young will tell you with no sugar coating. She was very blunt, to the point, but respectful. I want a confident doctor, one who doesn't waste my time or hers. She saved my life, had high grade pre cancerous cells and she did a procedure on me that got rid of them. Five years later and no bad pap smears. Doctors are impressed with the absence of scar tissue from the procedure. Those of you who are gicing bad reviews have no backbone. Your doctor isn't there to gossip with you or talk about family....they are there to fix you and she did just that! Thanks dr young. I have since moved to another state and wish I had her still!

Had me go to the hospital for tests. The hospital said they weren't ordered so I couldn't get them after taking the day off of work, and driving an hour to get there. Never went back.

Amazing doctor. She was the one who took the time to figure out my issue. After multiple miscarriages, she helped me be able to maintain my pregnancy. Now I'm having a few issues and I wish she was still around so I could go to her. She's a no nonsense doctor, but I don't mind. She's there to help women and is fantastic at what she does. I'm surprised at her low ratings, but I've heard that other doctors don't like her because she's so demanding for her own patients. She was irritated that after having two babies premature that my previous doctor hadn't sent the placentas to a lab. It was the first time I even heard of that as a possibility. She's more worried about her patients than about being liked. Nothing wrong there.

I went into premature labor. They tried to stop my child from comming but couldn't. Dr. Young was the Doctor on call and she not only saved my life but the life of my newborn and the lives of my two other children I hadn't had by saving my uterious. She is an amazing doctor and I wish she was still around.

These negative comments surprise me. I wouldn't give Dr. Young anything but positive reviews. I've gone to her for 13 years and never reconsidered. On the contrary, I have found her to be absolutely competent, informative and thorough, whether for a checkup or major surgery. That said, she does run a tight ship, which I appreciate. She is efficient and to the point, but perfectly respectful. She has always answered my every question, but if you want a doctor who will shoot the breeze with you at length, you will probably prefer someone else. She has never kept me waiting, although I don't usually make afternoon appointments. Her office hours are Mon-Th 9-4; closed 12-1:30. I always get a live person during office hours. She is in high demand and does schedule yearly exams quite far in advance, but it's your yearly--just plan ahead. Urgent appointments can be made on short notice. If these specs work for you, she's an excellent doctor. If they don't, you'll probably prefer someone else.

I had a submucosal fibroid that caused me horrendous bleeding and pain for 2 1/2 years, and that went undiagnosed by my previous doctor (actually Dr. McCulloch, mentioned below) who insisted throughout that time that there was nothing physically wrong with me. I am so glad that I finally switched to Dr. Young. By that point, the fibroid had become very large, but she was able to perform a difficult and complicated surgery to remove it while still preserving the structural integrity of my uterus. The improvement to my quality of life has been tremendous. From the beginning, Dr. Young took me seriously and spent plenty of time answering all of my questions. I can't recommend her enough.

Office is disorganized and unresponsive. Staff promise to call back and don't. Office hours are inconvenient and you can wait 5 days for a prescription to be refilled no matter how urgently you need it. I think Dr. Young is very knowledgeable and probably a brilliant surgeon. I would definitely see her if I needed a surgical procedure but I am planning to change doctors for everything else.

I went to Dr. Young and her assistants for the 5 years I lived in Logan. My first year I went to Dr. Young because I had some problems with PCOS and she was very knowledgeable and helpful. She put me on birth control which was a huge help for me! Dr. Young is very hard to get into, since she is in so much demand, so I ended up visiting Jaime Larsen the rest of the time. I LOVED Jaime. She was so helpful and kind whenever I visited. She eventually gave me a medication that helped me get pregnant. I was very pleased with her and the staff was always very quick to get back to me with test results or when I called with questions. I had a great experience with this office, even if I had to make my appointments a few weeks in advance! I wish I could find a doctor in my new area that I like as much!

I have to agree with all of the comments listed below. To be frank, this doctor was a ****. She treated me like an animal and like my feelings didnt matter. And don't get me started on the staff. They're all a joke. LADIES, TAKE IT FROM ME...RUN, AND DONT LOOK BACK. I'll drive to Ogden before seeing her.
