He was covering for my doctor who was out of town, and did not return a phone call for days. Then he just said I could leave the med dose alone or halve it Wow, not useful. He clearly was exasperated at being called.

Dr. Dobrinski is a very kind, caring person. He is the best and only endocrinologist that has regulated my thyroid levels. He is top notch. I would recommend him to anyone.

I really liked Dr. D the first several times that I saw him for my Hypothyroidsm, but as soon as I began having problems on my medication and things became a little complicated, I lost COMPLETE faith in him. I suffered terribly for about 3 mo's on a particular T4 regimen that he had instisted on keeping me on; until I was lucky enough to find a MD in MA who was much more open minded and LISTENED to me, and discovered that I was actually having an allergic reaction to the dyes and fillers in the specific T4 pill that I was on. The new Dr. also determined that I was a patient, that fit in the category of a certain class of patients who would benefit on a T3/T4 regimen (vs. just T4); and with the addition of the T3, I am finally feeling like my old self again. On the other hand, I felt that Dr. D dismissed my complaints, and instead came to the conclusion, that "there is probably something else going on". I really wouldn't recommend him for Thyroid patients!

I met Dr D after being misdiagnosed for 2 years. He took one look at the bloodwork and knew what my thyroid problem was. He always treats patients with respect and understanding. Also, he is willing to listen to my concerns and work with me to put together a treatment plan. I think the world of him.

After 4 endocrinologists I finally found a very competent, intelligent doctor. Easy to talk to, returns calls. Moved his office to a very convenient location. He is a compassionate MD who knows his stuff.

I was diagnosed years ago as a Type 2 diabetic. I had a horrible experience with the first doctor I saw and was hesitant to see another endocrine doc after that. I was referred to Dr. Dobrynski by a patient of his. The staff was great and I did not wait long at all. He diagnosed me as a Type 1 diabetic and explained to me why the oral meds were not working for me and took time explaining to me in detail about fast acting insulin versus short acting and what I needed to do all the while being attentive and kind. I have through diet and correct use of insulin brought my avg blood sugars down. I would recommend him to anyone who has diabetes and needs doctor who understands what you are going through.

I was very nervous about seeing Dr. Dobrynski. I was up very late working and ended up being 10 minutes late. His staff was very kind and nonjudgmental. I have been dealing with some difficult to explain health issues, but with strong indicators of family genetic issues. Dr. Dobrynski was very gentle, soft-spoken and put me at ease. I feel very confident in him and his staff.

Maybe I'm just hard to impress, but I did not feel that Dr. Dobrynski was very helpful or punctual. I was the first appointment of the day and was still seen 45 minutes late. He did spend a decent amount of time with me (~15-20 minutes) and his office also reduced charges when then they exceeded what my insurance would cover. My glowing review ends there. He did not look into T3 alternatives and automatically placed me on Cytomel, even though it is a premimum medication with my insurance company. He misread my bloodwork, saying my TSH level was 4.0 instead of .04 -which is a big difference! He also did not listen to my concerns of weight gain and curtly advised me to "Eat less and try exercising." I am so glad that my insurance company was billed almost $300 for that bit of medical genius. I left his office in tears. He ran late, his secretary is unavailable when you call, and his main office is inconveniently located off I195, accommodating about 20 cars for the building.
