The entire practice is lacking any human compassion.
There is very little care & no communication w Dr. Wolanin after 4 yrs of being his patient he still does not know me,so, every visit is like I'm a stranger. I have never seen such a "meat market!"
Don't be his patient unless he's your friend or some other relation otherwise you too will be just another number.
The office staff are overworked, they do their best, seems scattered & hectic. His son Chris is supposed to take care of referrals & schedule your appointments when you need testing at another facility. Chris only does this when he can get around to doing so, those were his own words.
Nurse Susan is a very caring listener but I feel that after I explain my concerns somehow Dr Wolanin enters & asks me what's going on.
Proceed with caution if you choose this Dr.

Fighting anxiety and depression and was giving me medicine for other problems. Misdiagnosis a lot. Never refers you. Just gives you pills.

Worst doctor ever, will look at a patient and diagnose them. My husband was complaining about his leg for over a year. Dr.Wolain kept telling him it was a sprained muscle ever gave him relaxers, my husband got a new doctor she sends him for a MRI. Turns out to be a tumor.

I went to my gynecologist today and they asked me why my blood pressure is always high...although dr wolanin has me on meds that aren't Working. They asked me what dr wolanin says about my blood pressure and I told them I was there 2 weeks ago and they take my blood pressure and then just tell me it's a little high and then I pay my co pay and leave. Then my daughter went to him because she has been having a lot of pain in the back of her neck...he looks at her and says a beautiful girl like you should not have acne so he writes her out a prescription for acne cream and they tell her she has a mild case of scoliosis and everyone has that. So she goes to a chiropractor and here she has a injury that she had for a while from a bad strain and he has been working on her. I am looking for a new doctor before I have a stroke because of my high blood pressure that doesn't seem to be important to him

Dr. Wolanin knows his medicine. He's always been right on with his diagnosis, and on the one occasion where he felt I needed a specialist's help, he was on the phone with several of them until I got the help I needed. Always very happy and willing to go out of his way to help you, day or night.

He is all about $$$$ and could care less about his patients. Every visit my co-pay changes. My last visit he told me I owed him $195 and he would not refil any of my meds or even see me unless I paid that off. He did see me after I gave me every penny in my pocket. Wants to get you in and out ASAP, so he can see the next patient and bill their insurance company.

The best doctor in the area. When you call after hours and get the answering service he returns your call within a few minutes no matter what time. He is very helpful and always there for you. Dr Wolanin is a very happy man who is always smiling or singing.

I've been going to the Mountain Top office for 10 years and have always gotten excellent care from Dr. Wolanin. I LOVE the staff there. Only downside is the wait time.

I love Dr Wolanin! He''s a wonderful person as well as a Doctor - his diagnoses are usually 100% and is very caring and accurate with his answers to questions. I would suggest him to anyone, although they may not be happy with the waiting time for their appointment - easily over an hour - but he''s well worth the wait
