Dr. Albert and his staff are phenomenal!!! He and his staff consistently exceed my expectations. He opted to perform surgery on my son on a Friday evening. He could have simply added him to his schedule for the following Monday so he could start his weekend. Nope! Dr. Albert didn’t even have any surgeries scheduled for that day. He could have passed my son off to some other ortho but he didn’t. He chose to postpone whatever he had planned for the weekend in order to ensure that my son received the best care possible. I can’t express how much that means to me. He and his staff are professional, competent, courteous, trustworthy , and supremely patient! What more can one ask for when choosing a physician??

Because of Dr Michael Albert I can no longer walk more than 50 feet without dropping from the pain in my lower back. I'm 38 years old and I'm in a wheelchair now. I may have only been 15 when you convinced my parents I needed a spinal fusion but I fought the entire time. I told every single employee at Children's that this surgery was happening against my will and no one listened to me and no one helped me. My parents didn't even get a 2nd opinion because YOU told them not to. YOU assured them I needed the surgery even though my curves fell underneath the standard requirement for surgical intervention, bracing was the appropriate option for me but you skipped right passed that. Did you buy a boat with the money you made off of my suffering? Go on an extravagant vacation? I hope that money was worth it to you because YOU ruined my life because you wanted to play God. Have the life you deserve. FYI - There's a group of us (your former patients all grown up) on Facebook and we all have the same things to say. Sounds like you messed up a lot of lives not just mine.

Dr Albert is a great surgeon! He is to the point and doesn't sugar coat anything but Tells how it is in manner that doesn't scare the parents to death.

Dr. Albert is clearly in this business because he loves kids and helping kids get better. He was amazing with our son. Couldn't have asked for a more caring doctor or staff. We were always made aware of pros/cons with all choices.

We saw Dr. Albert for a finger problem with my 10 month old daughter. He immediately wanted to do surgery without trying other options. Wish we had gotten a second opinion now, but at the time we trusted him and went through with the surgery. This made even more complications. We went to a Dr. in Cincinnati and he looked at the x rays that Dr. Albert took and found it was a broken finger all along and that the surgery should never have been done. Now we are looking at years of therapy to undo the damage from the surgery.

This is an amazing doctor. My son wa born with Brachial plexis injury and was unlikely to recover with complete use of his arm at three days old his youngetst patient he treated him and continues to do so. My son is a miracle thanks to God and giving this doctor the knowledge he has. To this day my son has 100 percent use of his arm that is rarely seen with this injury. Micheal Albert id wonderful and greatly appreciated.

We took our son to see him for club feet and started treatment. When asked about the Dr. Ponseti method of treatment with full leg casts and a brace he said "you have been on the internet"! Yes, we had and we stoper treatment and went to Iowa City for treatment. No surgery and 7.5 years later our son made the A level (out of 3 levels-the best) select soccer team! His MD says his feet are amazing! We would have had MAJOR surgery with Dr. Albert-lots and lots of scar tissue and money! DO NOT USE HIM FOR CLUB FEET!

I went to this **** for back problems. He misdiagnosed me and discharged me as a patient before the problem was settled. I went to an other ortho who corrected all his errors and told me that **** Albert does not have a good reputation in the Dayton area. Get away from this guy, he is money hungry!

Child has CP and Scoliosis. He had to have surgery for Scoliosis. He almost died after the surgery where they pumped too much fluid in him. Life support for 10 days and near death. Dr said rods in back would NEVER break, bend. Rods DID BREAK in 2 years. Child MUCH WORSE now than ever! Repeat surgery can kill him or paralyze him. Dr doesnt tell you all the facts about what could happen and doesn't take blame when something goes wrong as it has with all surgeries he did on son. Parents of Special needs kids are limited on what Dr they can see. Not many will take on a CP kid. We now have to find a Dr in another state or larger city hours away. Dr Albert has hid his mistakes from his patients for fear of losing mega bucks. DON'T USE THIS DR. FOR MAJOR MEDICAL! HE HAS RUINED MANY KIDS LIVES!! Ask around!!!!! You've been warned! Broken arm okay - anything major STAY AWAY!!!!
