Professional, competent and compassionate are the top three words that come to mind regarding Dr. Sim. I appreciate the fact that she doesn't suffer from "God complex syndrome". She is meticulously thorough and reputable. My husband, who NEVER goes to the doctor, was so pleased with her care for me that he actually became a patient! She is trust worthy and has an outstanding bedside manner! As long as she is practicing family medicine, she will always have us as her patients.

I happen to work as a nurse at the above mentioned urgent care and a few things you are saying are untrue. first it is a walk-in-first-come-first-serve clinic just like an emergency room. neither the doctor nor the staff can control how long you wait to be seen. second, if we remember who you are, which I think we do, you came in looking for narcotics and were very unhappy when you did not walk out with a perscription for vicodin. you were asked that if you have had a headache and back pain for over 2 wks, the why wouldn't you have called your doctor at any time in 2 weeks!!...you DID have a regular doctor. we also explained to you that we are not a pain clinic and that you will need to see your OWN doctor if you are looking for anything more than steroids and migraine medications. I am sorry that you did not get what you clearly came for(vicodin) but to put blame where it is not meant is just childish.

I seen Dr. Sim at the St. John after hours urgent care clinic because of a 2-week long headache and a sharp excruciating pain in my back. It was over an hour before I was called back. Dr. Sim was not the friendliest person I've met. She didn't seem to care much about helping me. It seemed as if she just wanted to get rid of me as fast as she could. Didn't take much time to assess my headache. And she would've walked out of the room without even asking about my back pain had I not stopped her. She issued a headache medication that did not help at all, it only made me feel worse. She also issued an anti-inflammatory, but did not say why she was giving it to me; whether it was for the headache or the back pain, it did not work. I left the office very upset. Only one nurse I spoke with was friendly and caring. I would not recommend Dr. Sim to anybody.

Dr. Sim made me feel very comfortable as a new patient. She spent a lot more time with me than my appointment was scheduled for and answered all my questions. I never felt rushed and she explained everything to me as if she was just talking to a friend. I got an appointment the same day I called and didn't have to wait long to see her. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a down to earth, knowledgable doctor who actually cares!

I found Dr. Sim to be both knowledgable and professional. She talked to me in regular language (not "doctor" language)and was sensitive to my problems. she actually SAT DOWN in the room and talked with me about my concerns. I didn't feel rushed at all and the best part was I got a same day appointment and didn't wait longer that 15 minutes to see her. I would recomend her to everyone.
