Had an IME with this doctor. He didn't agree with my own doctor's conclusions, and I thought Dr Soyer was wrong and just pleased the company that was paying him for the IME, but aside from that he was very professional and took me on time.

Do not go to this Dr. He is very rude, unprofessional, wouldn't even treat me for the 2 problems I
had going on that my Dr wanted him to see me for. When I got there he right out told me to
Pick the one problem I needed fixed. I couldn't have 2 injuries. Really?? I didn't plan on getting hurt. My Dr couldn't believed Dr Ioia treated me like this. Even the X-ray tech apologize as well as his PA Assistant who came in to see me because Dr. Ioia wouldn't even come into the exam room. Again he is very unprofessional and should loose his license and revoked.
STAY AWAY! Go to another Dr who truly cares.

I love this doctor! He was very pleasant and diagnosed my problem. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this office.

I can't even give this doctor one star. He was awful. He treated my son with nothing but ignorance and arrogance. He sent him home with his leg broken in half so he could wait for screws that didn't even hold up for 2 months. He caused great pain and hardship for my son and we wanted to sue him. He is horrible! I hate him. Do not seek treatment from him!

Do yourself a favor and wait a few weeks to see Dr. Ioia. The PA Melissa is very unpleasant. Front office staff is great.

Physician asst Melissa inept and rude. Doctor gruff, arrogant and dismissive. Not helpful. Will try another doctor at this point.

Although I felt that Dr. Ioia was professional and helpful, albeit a little rushed, I found his staff to be horrendous! These women took it upon themselves to negate medical decisions that the doctor and I had agreed upon (like an out-of-network approval) and refused to comply with my insurance company. They lied to my sister, a registered nurse, when she attempted to help me get them to process the paperwork the insurance company had to call to explain to them. My insurance company advised me to file a complaint against the doctor's office, which I intend to do. Dr. Ioia did help me to discover the reasons behind my painful sciatica and to steer me in the right direction but his staff were such rude, lazy, and downright cold women that I would never step food in his office again!! Another reviewer had written "Mimi has ice in her veins" and I wholeheartedly concur!

i had a similar surgery (r rotator cuff) done in 2004 by dutchess co ortho that was a disaster. dr ioia was wonderful in explaining everything to me and took alot of time in allaying my fears. my surgery (l rotator cuff) was done this month without complications and any issues. DC ortho should take lessons from him in their care of patients

Dr. Ioia is a very kind and caring person. He truly has a big heart. His staff is very professional and welcoming. The willingness to help people is evident and appreciated by this more than satisfied customer!
