My comment is referring to back in 1991/92. I went to Dr. Adam for my 1st pregnancy & lost my ins. during late pregnancy. He advised that he would not del unless I came up with 1500.00 so I did. He let me go so late, 43 wks the nurses were saying I was after the the most traumatic del. Advised me to be at hospvon a Tues a.m. Well I actually started my 'bloody show' that a.m. before I arrived to be induced but they wouldn't believe me and started the pictocin. It was the horrible, I was screaming and cussing in the worst labor pains imaginable, baby kicking my back, etc...This went on for 5 hours & he advised the nurses not to let me get the epidural until I was dilated to at least an 8 or 9!! I suspect he was in a hurry. Monitor showed baby to be in extreme distress, heartbeat went down to 30 bpm, my BP was soaring and I was screaming in pain. After this I finally got the epidural and right after I had to start pushing because they said the umbilical cord was wrapped around baby's shoulder. Dr. Adam had to cut me from one end to the other and he had to use forceps because it was an emergency to get my baby out. I ended up with 37 stitches with the episiotomy and scarred & maimed down there! Ever since, 30 years now, when I urinate it all flows back towards my rectum, not straight down like it used to. Looking back, I absolutely should have had an emergency C-section. This has bothered me for 30 years so today I looked up to see if this doctor was still even alive and IDK if he is or not but at least I've been able to share my experience today. KKW.

Been going to Dr. Adami for 30 years. He is the best. I love him. Sometimes the front desk leople are rushed & .borderline rude. But I can deal with that. I have every intention of staying with Dr. Adami as long as he practices. My sister & a couple of friends use him also. We love him. He saved my life.

I have been going to Dr. Adami's office for 10yrs, he delivered both of my children but just recently I stopped having insurance. I called to have my birth control changed to a cheaper one and they called in a new one to my pharmacy, after having called the pharmacy I found out that it was still too expensive so I called the office a week later to get it changed, when the person who sits at the front who has been there forever answered, she seemed to be having a bad day raised her voice at me like if I was bothering her or wasting her time. I had never been treated that way by Dr. Adami office they had always been so helpful and now because of this rude person they have lost a good paying patient. Dr. Adami needs to reevaluate the staff he has working for him.

I am now 38weeks and this is my 1st pregnancy this has been the worst experience of my life!I have been in a car accident and went to the hospital for lower pain and not once has he went to the hospital to see me!and when I do see him he takes 10sec to check my bby heartbeat and tells me ok see you next visit and rush out my room I always wait more the 30mins to be called into the exam room and another 20 or more mins for him!I wish I went to another doctor he's the worst! Also my friend seen him and she was bleeding for over 6weeks she was 20weeks pregnant and she was in the hospital over 7times not once did he go see her and never sent her to a (mfm)for bleeding.never told her y she was bleeding just that her bby heartbeat was fine.come to find out finally after 6weeks of bleeding her bby boy slips right out n dies.and she finds out her bby had a chance to live if only he would of cared enough (her placenta was torn) that's the reason the hospital gave her for the death of her bby!

I have been going to Dr. Adami for the past 4 years now and I am 6 months pregnant with my 1st child. My entire experience so far has been very good. Dr. Adami has a great personality and makes me feel very comfortable. I think the girls behind the counter are very sweet and helpful. They will work with you on payments. The only time I had to wait over an hour was when Dr. Adami had to rush across the street to Baylor to deliver a baby. And I expect for him to do the same for me when it's time for me to have my baby.

I was a patient of Dr. Adami's from 1980 until 2009, THIRTY YEARS, because he is such a good doctor. When it came time to have a hysterectomy due to inoperable fibroids, I switched to a female doctor who practices at Medical City because I had a personal bias against Baylor Garland that should not influence anyone else's decision. I will go back to Dr. Adami from now on, and I wish I had never gone to another doctor in the first place. He does the exam quickly and without embarrassing me, then exits, and I talk to him in his office afterwards, which is much more comfortable than discussing my hormones, health and wellness while in the exam room. I hate it when other doctors do that. Some of his nurses are off-putting, others very friendly and helpful. Go there to see Dr. Adami, and you will be glad that you did.
