Dr. Mitch Cohen is the absolute best spine surgeon in California. He is kind, patient and honest. My mother has needed back surgery for quite some time and he has successfully treated her with surgery. She is now pain free and owes her life to Dr. Mitch. His staff is superior...His office manager Joleen was fantastic and took the time to get us in to surgery ASAP. His office staff was amazing. Thank you Dr. Cohen...you are a god send.

Dr. Cohen has been a great help to me. After visiting another Orthopedic surgeon that told me surgery (cervical fusion)was my only option Dr. Cohen suggested a more conservative approach to my herniated cervical disc. After a few months of physical therapy my condition has improved to the point that I can return to work full time. Being in therapy also gave me a chance to talk to other patients of Dr. Cohen. Without an exception, every patient that I spoke to had only great things to say about the Dr., whether or not he had performed surgery for them. Dr. Cohen explained the possibility of problems such as the effects on the vertabrae above and below the fusion,something previous surgeons had neglected to tell me. An old saying is "If all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail". I was truely fortunate to find a surgeon that uses all of his available tools to get the best results and not require surgery for all of his patients. Dr. Cohen is highly recommended to everyone.
