Good psychiatrists are worth their weight in gold and just as rare. I am fortunate to have connected with Dr. Judy Friedman. While in a state of personal crisis during COVID, I could not secure an appointment with a psychiatrist that wasn't weeks into the future. I discovered Dr. Friedman online; she took me on and provided a virtual in-take session the same week. Since then, she has provided effective therapeutic diagnosis, guidance, and medication management. Looking back, I'm in awe at how much progress I've made. In multiple ways, I feel like a new person. The anxiety and heartbreak are in the past, much credit to her support. Dr. Friedman's style is a bit "old school"; she can be refreshingly direct but always empathetic and non-judgemental. She's also a responsive doctor who will answer your call/return texts promptly. If you are looking for a psychiatrist to provide real therapy and responsible medication management, Dr. Judy Friedman is the best I've experienced.

Excellent physician and therapist. I was suffering from high anxiety because of work, it affected family life, sleep, not to mention my overall health. I have seen Dr. Friedman for the past year, and frankly, every part of my life bhas changed for the better. During COVID, the tele-sessions are keeping me grounded. Her medication management has been careful, conservative, and highly effective, but most of all, she is smart, and has a sense of humor, which for me, helps keep the world in perspective.

Terrifically helpful therapy sessions. Pragmatic, also intuitive, sometimes blunt. High intelligence from this MD, and a big heart.

Dr. Friedman helped me through a difficult period of anxiety, when my personal relationships and work performance were suffering. She was insightful and knowledgeable about appropriate medication management. My next performance review was a complete turnaround. I also recently got engaged. A very successful intervention.

Dr. Friedman has supported me for over fourteen years and has been instrumental in my ability to consistently contribute and perform in a high stress/pressure oriented career. She has taught me to breath and learn different approaches when tackling and overcoming the general challenges life offers to us all... I have always been amazed at her ability to bring calmness in my day.
