As a family, we have had horrible experiences with this person. He is a narcissist and bully with little compassion for patient care. It’s sad because there are few options for 2nd opinions in this rural community. Fortunately, we were able to get better care out of town and several medicines were removed from our Rx list. Our new Doctors questioned why a Doctor would prescribe these unnecessary drugs/ medications! Many drugs caused other additional issues that could have been prevented. How this man is still in practice deserves a deeper dive for the benefit of folks living in this community. If you, or a family member are able to find medical care other than this man, please do try to engage someone else.

Great doctor! He is a genius. He may be blunt and straight to the point but he will tell you what you need to know without beating around the bush. If you're dying and he can save you best believe he will try his hardest. If you don't follow through with what he recommends then he gets a lil gruff but he inly wants what's best for you as the patient.

My sister would not be alive today if Dr. Hernandez didn't step up to the other doctors and tell them they were wrong. We got her transferred to Cleveland Clinic and they told us she would have died in the next 24 hours if we hadn't gotten her there. She had a hard time and Cleveland Clinic had a big job ahead of them. By the grace of God and Dr. Hernandez she is recovering and doing well now. Thank you!

Very rude to my 63 year old grandma. She has cancer and a failing kidney and he yelled at her for going to the ER after being constipated for TEN days! She was in excruciating pain, he told her that she was "spoiled brat" because her family wants the best for her. Very horrible doctor! Get someone else.

Dr Hernandez gets this rating because he is arrogant,rude and has no bedside manners. It doesn't matter how good a Dr is, they need to respect patients and treat them like they are are human beings.

Some don't care for Dr. Hernandez personality but when my father was on his last few days it was Dr. Hernandez that stood up and explained things to me and my family. He was straight forward to us and at that time personable. He is a no non sense Dr. This is why me and a lot of my family go to him. He wont prescribe Medications that isn't needed. I Praise him. He is a real Doctor.

Dr. Hernandez is an excellent doctor, however, in my opinion he has a God-like complex. VERY arrogant, he can be very rude and condesending. He literally yelled at my husband and wouldn't let us speak. We walked out on him and will never recommend him to anyone, no matter how good he is. Nobody deserves to be treated the way we were.

I have had several serious issues and Dr. Hernandez has been amazing. He has a personality that u have to get used to, but there is none better as far as my care and his caring for me.

Dr. Hernandez has saved my life more than once as he has done for countless others. If you want a Dr. who knows what he's doing when it counts he is the one for you. He can be gruff if you don't follow his advice for your heath but it's for your own good.
