This Dr wont let me use the home health company of my choice. He wont sign orders unless I use the home health company his brother owns,

This physician lets the patients make their own call about whether to go to the hospital or not? He almost killed my beloved mother -in-law! She had both lungs full of blood cots and he let her decide to go to the er or not. Later that evening after seeing her myself I told her something is very, very, wrong. My husband and I took her to the hospital and she was admitted to the ICU unit. It is by the grace of God that she made it through. The story does not end hear. She had a lung filter put in and placed on Coumidin. After taking the Coumidin for 2 years, she convinced Dr. Appl to let her discontinue it! She is now having problems and is being tested tomorrow for bloodclots. We had expressed our concern to her about her being out of breath and her lack of color. She told Dr. Appl her family was concerned his response was I'm not concerned about what your family is concerned about!!! The office is an absolute DUMP and quite frankly a fire hazard.

My elderly mother has been seeing Dr. Appl for over 20 years. I go to many appts with her. He takes so much time with his patients and you can tell he really cares. He is one of a kind. There office is very outdated but it doesn't really matter when you get such quality, personable care. Hard to find these days!!

Dr. Appl is wonderful, i get in and out and he answers all my questions and my concerns. I love this doctor. The Staff is amazing Joan is the best ever they all work so hard.

Some of the staff was completely unprofessional. The doctor talked a lot but never really said anything useful. I felt unwelcome and regret the visit as it was a waste of time.

Dr. Appl is an amazing physician. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly listens to me. I have been a patient of his for 8 years, and in this day and age of hurried 5 minute sessions with most Dr.'s , Dr. Appl is a breath of fresh air! I trust his recommendations, as he takes my information, medical history, etc..., and treats accordingly.

I have worked with Dr Appl in the hospital setting as I am a Nurse. I also choose him as my personal physicain. I saw how much his hospital patients loved him and I saw the time he spent with each patient. He goes above and beyond to help his patients in any way he can. Above all, his staff is the best I have also dealt with. they bend over backwards with some good HOME TOWN Customer Service. I would recommend Dr Appl to anyone.

Dr. Appl notices the not-so-obvious symptoms when present, as well as whatever has brought us in as a patient. Our family has been seeing him for over 10 years. He listens well and asks many questions in seeking an accurate diagnosis. He makes our children feel very comfortable while in the dr's office. We often wait past our scheduled appointment time, but when a patient is in the exam room, he doesn't rush through...he is thorough. He follows the path of least invasiveness first. However, if a procedure, surgery, or hospitalization is needed, he's immediately on top of it. His staff is friendly and very helpful.
