He was the only doctor that actually listened to me and didn’t make me feel like I was crazy.

Fixed both my neck and back after injuries sustained at the job site. I thought I’d never be the same after the injury. Dr. Scheids excellent work has gotten me pretty close to back to normal. I had a crushed vertebra in my lumbar and a hernia in my cervical. He is great.

I herniated L45 laying pipe. Dr. Scheid saw me after PT and a shot. Nothing worked. I ended up having the surgery he recommended. 6 months out now. Very happy with the outcome. Pain is much better. All of the leg pain is gone. I still have a bit of the back pain but it is doable. Much better than I ever thought I’d be.

Herniated disc in my neck. Tried everything to avoid surgery. First doctor I saw said I needed a major neck surgery. I went to see Dr. Scheid as a second opinion and he found a minimal way to take care of the problem by decompressing a pinched nerve. Surgery went great I’ve had no problems since.

Dr. Scheid is really fantastic. He takes time to listen to you and spends the effort to actually figure out what's wrong. I've been told by 3 different spine surgeons that I would have to live with pain for the rest of my life. I saw him as a fourth opinion because I was almost to the point of not wanting to go on. It's crazy because he found the problem on our first visit together. The recommended a surgery and I had it about 3 weeks later. Overall, my pain is about 75 to 80% better than it was before the surgery. The pain has never come back. I am forever grateful to him for giving me a chance.

10 years of disabling pain. 4 surgeons. . I had had 3 back procedures, a laminectomy a discectomy, and some laser procedure, which did absolutely nothing. I finally saw Dr Scheid as a 4th opinion. Turns out I have a fixable problem! He said all this time I hAd a spondylolysis which is a crack in a bone and no one hAd addressed it before. He repaired it with some screws through a smal opening in my back. It took care of the pain that had been there for 10 years. Wish I had met him much sooner.

Dr. Scheid took wonderful care of me when I had a ruptured disc in my neck. I woke up with very painful arm and neck and thought I was having a heart attack. Heart was fine and my doctor eventually figured it out to be a disc in my neck. By that time I had numbness and some weakness in my arm and hand. I was scared. She sent me to see Dr. Edward Scheid. He was incredibly friendly and kind. He explained everything. Because of the weakness he recommended a surgery. I had a disc replacement on C56. Surgery went smoothly and I made a fantastic recovery. I am forever greatful to him for his fantastic care.

My PCP sent me to Dr. Scheid after a CT scan revealed a "brain mass." I had been having severe headaches for a month. This led to an MRI being done and I was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor. Dr. Scheid was very kind and reassuring to my husband and me. Eventually I had surgery and had the tumor removed. Dr. Scheid was very pleased that he was able to remove the whole thing. I have been fine ever since. I get routine scans every year or so just to make sure that nothing grows back, and it is always nice to check in with Dr. Scheid and have him tell me that everything is OK. I am very happy that I chose him to do the surgery.

My back had bothered me for years. I was having shocks in both of my legs every day. Couldn’t sleep. I was referred to Dr. Scheid after I was diagnosed with spondylolisthesis. I had injections and physical therapy and Chiro before seeing him. I was very impressed with his bedside manner And he’s a great surgeon.. He But screws and rods in my back through an incision was only an inch long to fix itMy electric shock leg pain is completely gone and my back feels solid and strong for the first time in years. He’s amazing.
