I am so thankful for Dr. Scheid and his team for the excellent care I received. I had two surgeries performed by another surgeon that didnt go so well. I heard that Dr. Scheid is the best at fixing things from other surgeries so I cam and see him. He is kind and very clear at explaining things. The surgery on my back went very well and I healed quickly and fully. I am at least 90% better than before the surgery.

Stay far away. He did a tripple fusion on me and I pay in pain every day because of the damage he has done. I know of 4 other people he has also destroyed their lives. He did procedures that he was not qualified to do

Saw this Dr in NJ after he closed his practice in NY. I wish I had seen these reviews before meeting him. He was awful. Rude, creepy. I heard he has been fired from two practices here in NJ already. The medical board should take his license away

My husband had a 2 day in a row back surgery by Scheid 5 years ago and has permanent nerve damage. In pain every day. Acts like he will fix you and then ran away. To the new patients in NJ , go to another neurologist.

Absolutely horrible, performs surgeries not needed and refers to his doctor wife for unnecessary tests. He’s been investigated for malpractice before and has had so many complaints about his practice that he had to close the one in Slingerlands, NY and move to another state. Run as far from this man as possible. Don’t let him touch you or your family.

Rudest office crew ever PA is a wanna be Dr. Dr himself is lazy, what kind of Dr cancels a major 2nd surgery after you’re already admitted in the hospital & drive through an ice storm to get there? It was a Godsend honestly! Also, Never controlled my pain which lead me to literally have to self diagnose my own high blood pressure. When I told my GP a what the readings were the past 3 months at his office he had me in his office the next day stating that that was strike numbers for me! Start clear of this man! He also caused severe nerve damage in a very good friend of mine after having the same surgery I had.

He helped me understand my condition and what to expect from it in the future. Fortunately I did not need surgery but he worked with his PT and pain management team to make sure that I was set up with them for treatment. Even though my problem didn’t require surgery he still wanted to help.
