I had a great experience with this thorough, caring doctor, and her staff was friendly and helpful. I wonder if the other reviewers are mixing her up with a different doctor, my experience was so different from theirs!

I arrived a few minutes early, filled out the redundant paperwork (same questions over and over again, also 12 pages at least to fill out), waited over an hour before being seen to a room, there is NO privacy whatsoever - the doctor and staff talk loud with doors to exam rooms open, which doesn't matter much since the walls are paperthin, and the dr was very dismissive of some of my concerns and one of my care practitioners. She was friendly-ish at best. The staff is very disorganized. Maybe they're new and learning? My high hopes were dashed.

This woman is by far the worst excuse of a medical professional- and human being- I have ever encountered. Her only concern is financial gain. I was admitted into the hospital in 2010 with extremely high blood pressure, severe pain from cranial pressure and severely blurred vision. No one knew what was wrong with me. I was alone and afraid and oh yeah- couldn’t SEE ANYTHING. I am sure I was made to sign some sort of consent form in the ER but I could not see what I was signing and was too distraught to understand anything that was happening. All I remember was telling them over and over that I did not have insurance- as a recent college graduate with huge student loans, I was petrified of being in even more debt. My condition actually became so severe because I waited so long to seek attention due to my lack of insurance. Luckily, I qualified for the hospital’s Charity Care program. I was informed that it would cover most of my in hospital visit but that private doctors had the right to refuse accepting this insurance. I was in the hospital for 5 days and had to undergo many tests. My primary care physician was a saint and was there regularly to help and check on me. They finally determined I needed a neurologist. As it turns out, the hospital’s neurologist was away that week and they would need to bring in their on-call physician. Reznik knew my financial situation yet neglected to tell me she did not accept the Charity Care insurance. I was never given the right to refuse her service. She was highly unprofessional. She first approached me for my initial “exam” while I was groggy on pain meds and feeling nauseous, waiting in a wheel chair in a hallway for yet another MRI. She did the basic reflex tests and looked at my eyes and left. I do not remember much else from the encounter. She approached me while I was alone and drugged and had no one to speak for me or my rights. My next (and final) hospital encounter with her thankfully occurred with my family in the room. She breezed in and told my mother that she had to catch a plane to go see her son because he had gotten in trouble in school and “you know how kids are.” She told us she would order tests and get back to us. My mother was appalled at her lack of professionalism. I was finally diagnosed with severe papal edema and psuedotumor cerebri by my family doctor who had been researching my symptoms and gone above and beyond the call of duty (she also accepted the hospital care and waved most of her additional fees- as I said, she was a saint to me!) Upon discharge from the hospital I was required to have a follow up with Reznik. I spent HOURS in the waiting room (despite being on time for my appointment) and dealt with extremely rude staff before finally being seen by Reznik. She came into the exam room, did basic reflex tests and checked vitals, sat down and said “So, what were your test results?” I was shocked and appalled. The whole reason I was there was to follow up on the results of the tests she supposedly ordered. After telling her I didn’t know as I am not a doctor she said I would have to come back for another visit to get the results. As I left I was told she did not accept Charity Care- and since I respected that this was an out-patient office visit in her private practice, as much as it galled me I paid the $400 for the visit. (FOUR hundred dollars to get my pulse taken and be told to come back later…) It did not occur to me that not accepting charity care meant she could refuse it for in hospital visits as well as out-patient- so I believed my debt with her was settled and went to my family doctor for follow up. It was then that I found out, from my family doctor, that this woman had such a horrible reputation, the hospital’s resident neurologist went back behind her and reviewed my test results (at no charge to me) and sent them to my family doctor. This is the only way I actually found out what was wrong with me and how to treat it. Sometime later I received a bill from Reznik for SIX HUNDRED dollars for the in-hospital exam. I spoke to her office manager, telling them I could not pay it. I was furious that they wouldn’t take the charity care and fought and fought but finally said I could give minimal payments (to avoid going in to collections). She refused- said I had to pay in full or at least make payments of $100/mo. (I could barely afford to pay $20/mo.) She has since put me in collections and it is a blemish on my credit. I am in the process of trying to settle with her, as it would take more money to fight it rather than just pay her off. It disgusts and sickens me that I have to give her a dime. Not only do I recommend not seeing this woman- if you or anyone you know is referred to her- run as far and as fast as possible. Medical professionals should be there to help those in need- not bleed them dry and take advantage of them when they are sick and vulnerable.

I have been seeing Dr. Idiot for Restless Legs Syndrome. I had started to have other issues though. I began to have pins and needles in my hands which are progressing to other parts of my body. She sent me to a rhumetologist who proceeded, aftter extensive tests, to tell me that it was probably neurological. The last time I saw her I told her that my insurance was going to run out in 3 and a half days. I asked the price of her office visits and intending to keep seeing her as she was only charging 100 dollars a visit. At the last visit she finally considered that the symptons I was having might actually be nuerological after all. She gave me a prescription for a cervical MRI and told me that her office would get the pre-autorization for the MRI that day. Later that afternoon I was told be her staff that her computer was acting up and that she had taken the files home with her to have the autorizations completed in the morning. Next day I called again in the afternoon after having heard nothing from them and was told that they didn't have the information that they needed to call for the pre-authorization that morning becasue they were in another office and that they would have it for me by the next afternoon. The next afternoon would leave me only one day to have the MRI done. And that day would be a Saturday and Associated Radiologist is very busy on Saturdays. So now I cannot have the MRI done. The office staff is rude and after seeing many of the issues the doctor has had with them alot of them should have been fired months ago. Not to mention that the doctor has no brain.

The staff is unorganized and the doctor yells at them in front of patients, while ignoring her patients. I was in the examining room when the doctor found that I hadn't paid my bill for my last visit, which was a few weeks before ( I HADN'T EVEN RECEIVED A BILL YET). The doctor said "I can't talk to you anymore now" and walked out of the room right in the middle of helping me. Staff came in, embarrassed, to say that she would not treat me until I paid (once again, I hadn't even been billed). My auto mechanic is more caring and less money hungry than this doctor. She knows exactly how much she can get from your insurance company and makes appointments accordingly.

Very unsatisfied with Dr. Reznik and her staff on every level. She was told on several office visits that my son is autistic and non verbal, yet she continues to ask him questions that he cannot answer. As a person, I suppose she is nice enough, not rude....but completely on another planet. And that reflects in the incompetency of her staff. You walk out of there wondering "what just happened"???

The dr was was given information but I feel did an inadequate review of my history. Very few questions were asked. In trusting the dr.had seen the files sent over in advance I assumed her advice was based on the information and was logical and well thought out based on that info. Going by the advice given I stopped taking a medication I had taken over a year, the dr. felt it was unnecessary and of no benefit.I weaned myself off that RX following dr.directions. Within a week of going off the medicine I had a SECOND seizure. I notified the dr.immediately. Cslled the office a few days later to confirm the directions I thought I had been given. It related to WHETHER OR NOT I could drive after waiting 2 wks.IMPORTANT, I was passed from person to person in the office. When I asked to go back to the office mgr again I was told she was TOO BUSY!! I ended up having to repeat my details over again to yet another person. They put me on hold at that point and never cared enough to CALL ME BACK.

Went to her for a couple of years. Everytime I went she insisted I have a EEG. Asked if I had headaches. I said sometimes. She in return wrote me a prescription for headache medication. Told her I sometimes can't fall asleep...wrote me another prescription. A year after that visit I recieved a bill in the mail for 600+ dollars. Her EXTREMELY HORRIBLE(that's being nice!) staff declined to inform me that they no longer accept my insurance!I asked, since when? They said, about a year in a half! I asked, why was I not informed? Response, we had a sign up. So everytime I went in, they took my "co-pay". Then realized a year in a half later Whoops, we forgot to bill this patient correctly! Tried calling to speak directly to her. Her receptionist forgot to press hold... and I could hear her speaking loudly saying, I am not speaking to her. That is what she owes! I have never meet a Doctor SO unprofessional! She should be ashamed of herself!!! If she is you DR. FIND ANOTHER FAST!!!
