Went to Dr Foyt for plugged right ear and tinnitus. Spent 20 minutes with all the paperwork, two minutes with his nurse, who took my vitals and said nothing, and 2 minutes at best with Dr. Foyt. After looking in my ears he had me do a hearing test. He never looked in my nose, or throat or did any test. After the hearing test I came back to the room to be told by him that there was nothing he could do. His exact words were " Live with it", without even trying to find the reason for my issue. He was the biggest waste of time and money I have ever spent. I would not recommend him to anyone. I don't care how good he is as a surgeon, you don't get to pick and choose who you are going to help, or at least try to help.

I visited Dr. David after looking at the reviews but had very disappointed experience. I was having pain in my ears for a while. He looked in my ears for few seconds and said something that I already knew. He didn't explain or asked any medical history related to ears. He left the room by saying he will prescribe me a ear drop.

I thought we are done and I left the office after making payment and all. Its been 5 days since the visit but prescription never showed up at the pharmacy. I had to leave town early next day and came back on weekend, but still no prescription.

This is my worst experience with a doctor in my whole life. He may be a good surgeon but not very good in OPD.

Dr. Foyt is a brilliant surgeon who saved my hearing. He revised an operation that was done by another doctor. He deals with the most difficult cases and patients that other doctors do not want or cannot deal with.

I have been a patient of Dr Foyt's for about 13 years now. I was referred to him by my Pediatrician at age 12 for hearing loss and frequent ear infections. He diagnosed me with a Cholsteatoma and removed the growth a few months later. I have since been going for follow ups and have had to have Cholsteatomas removed 3 times now, and he also installed a Baha hearing aid device for my hearing loss. In my opinion he is a great doctor, although he is fairly socially awkward. I think this comes with the territory of being a fantastic surgeon, you can't have it all! He does seem rushed fairly often, but i think that has a lot to do with how many patients he sees on a daily basis. I trust him completely, and recommend him to anyone with ENT issues.

Went for severe vertigo, balance issues, and tinnitus. I spent 20 minutes filling out paperwork in the office. I spent about 3 minutes with Dr Foyt. He was in a rush, and was speaking so fast that at one point he was completely unintelligible. He asked what I did for a living, then insulted my profession. He asked very few questions about my symptoms and told me with certainty that I did not have a vestibular disorder. Thus, he recommended that I stop vestibular rehabilitation therapy. He stated vertigo could be caused by "multiple sclerosis or nothing at all." He recommended that I have an MRI which I did and it came back clean. At my follow up appointment he seemed to have forgotten his original ruling of non-vestibular vertigo and insisted that I go back to physical therapy. When I ask what I should do if I had another severe episode he said he would give me valium. Very bizarre man. Not professional. Zero bedside manner. Did not bother to correctly diagnose, treat or educate me.

Dr. Foyt did my Baha surgery. He has never been anything other than friendly, respectful and professional. I highly recommend him. I find it hard to believe he would be rude. Even if he was I'd still go to him the man is brilliant, I wasn't looking for someone to be nice, just someone to give me my hearing back and he did!

Excellent subspecialist in the treatment of ear disease. He was referred by my local Ear Nose and Throat doctor to take care of my inner ear infection called a cholesteatoma (think that's how you spell it). He also took care of someone at work (I learned later on). He put in a cochlear implant in that person and they can now hear after being deaf for years! His office is amazing state of the art and he really knows what he is doing.

This was for an ear surgery I had done in 2000, and I haven't been to his new office, but I would recommend Dr. Foyt to anyone. Although my surgery did not produce a positive result in getting my hearing loss back (not due to him-my inner ear bones were "dead" and the prosthesis he put in didn't make my hearing any better-I was one of the 5% of patients that this particular surgery didn't work for) I would go back to him for any ear condition in a heartbeat. He is very professional and kind. He explained everything to me prior and after my appointment and surgery in great detail so I could understand what was going on.

Sent to him by my family ENT doctor. Did an "Epley Maneuver" and cured my dizziness. He was pretty fast, but efficient. Excellent physician. Had a friend who had hearing loss and Foyt operated on him and had a great result as well
