He was very busy and did not take much time to answer our questions or review x-rays. Nurse staff was wonderful, though.

Dr Juan Kaplan was very helpful to me when he diagnosed me with bladder cancer. He sent me to the hospital right away. And did follow-up appointments and treatments until I retired and changed my Insurance to an HMO. At that time my treatments with him ended. I have been cancer free since 1998.

I went into Whittier Hospital to have a biopsy of my prostate and I stressed how nervous I was and how I wish I weren't there. Dr. Kaplan told me to go home and that he didn't bribe me to have the biopsy. I told him of my concerns and he yelled at me and told me he wasn't there to heal me if I expected that I was looking for him to build castles in the sky. Then he told me to go home and he cancelled the procedure. I have never been so offended in all my life. I felt as if I was on Candid Camera or something. Dr Kaplan was the worst doctor I have ever encountered I would not want anyone to go through what I went through I highly recommend avoiding a visit to his office...
