Dr. Africano is by far the most knowledgable Phychiatrist I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I feel he knows addicts and patients with problems other than addiction and will try his best to get to the bottom of whatever is not making your life work. IF IT IS YOU that isn't making it work he will tell you and won't just write a script because you think it's a good idea. Dr. A as everyone calls him tends to run a bit behind because he has a huge caseload and he doesn't rush his patients out of the office. I have had a relationship with him now for almost 12 years checking in if I need him is a wonderful feeling to know that you have someone that will be honest with you. But don't make the mistake of playing him for a fool, this Dr knows every trick in the book, has heard it all and will not waste his time with people who are wasting his. If you want to get better this is the Dr for the job. I owe him my life. Dee L
